Fuck off please..wish this thread would too actually

The season hasn't even started yet. This is nothing compared to what's coming when he either starts playing well or starts playing shite.

You both sound surprised. He's being touted as a World Class striker by the media, the same media that are ignoring he couldn't score a one on one against David James at home.

He's at Manchester United now, hence he must be great. That's the way the media functions, they can't write anything bad about their precious Manchester United or anyone or anything related to it.

And I'm not surprised, and I'm amazed I could sound surprised from saying this is nothing compared to what's coming

Think its a canny move by Ferguson IMO.

Suprised by the huge negative reaction, he will score more than not with great service, coming off the bench will be useful.

Couldnt care either way tbh, he could be at his peak, scoring left, right, centre and would have never felt like he was ours, the press wouldnt have ever let it happen.

Be happy to see him break down dyer stylee too though.

Beat me to it. He's still a class act, same as Scholes.

When you say class act do you mean he's still good? Because he looked out of his depth in the Champions League final.

Tbh I think thats possible whilst still being a class act. It is the biggest club match in Europe after all. Most of the Man United team looked out of their depth in that match, mainly because barca were massively better.

OWEN KOPS A VOLLEY OF FANS’ ABUSE

UNDER-FIRE football ace Michael Owen is being targeted by a hate mob over his controversial move to Manchester United.

The former Liverpool star outraged diehard Koppites by sealing a switch to their hated rivals. Now furious fans have sent the 29-year-old England ace threatening mail warning: “Don’t ever come back to Liverpool.”

The letters have prompted Owen’s camp to beef up security outside his £2.5million mansion in Mold, North Wales.

He’s also privately expressed fears for the safety of his brothers, sister and parents, who all live in a road bought by Owen in a nearby village.

A source close to the ex-Newcastle striker said: “Michae l has had some nasty anonymous mail telling him not to go back to Liverpool. He knows he’s angered a lot of Reds but didn’t expect to be fearing for his safety.

“There are some twisted fans out there who see football as a matter of life and death. If the situation gets worse he’ll have to get the police involved.”

Liverpool’s hooligans the Urchins are raging over Owen’s move.

One insider said: “He’s outraged and upset a lot of fans by moving to the Mancs and if he sets foot in this city there’ll be a f**kin’ lynch mob waiting.

“He better bring a police escort.”

Poor Michael.
