Redknappe would rather a bunch of medicore players than a few top quality players.

I think they still suffer from hiring redknappe. He hired good but not top strikers like Defoe n crouch to rescue spurs immediately. They achieved that, but now they r suffering from not being able to shift them.

They, without a doubt, r still good enough to be best after top 5. But they need to stop hiring so so players like Parker, n concentrate on unearthing rough diamond like bale, sandro etc.

How does that work, considering he did play?

Redknapp trying to shift the attention away from that result onto Modric, is he?

Shit attitude by Modric anyhow.

But he played anyway after being asked/told to. Not so sure what he's done wrong really, if he felt he wasn't in the right frame of mind for the match then he was right to raise it with the manager.

How about to just get your head down and act professionally by trying to win the game for the club that pays you?

Come on... all of this Modric leaving talk has gone quite in recent weeks anyway. So why couldn't he just concentrate on the football for 90 minutes?

True but his 50 grand a week and the fact it is his job should mean he plays, footballers are such tossers at times and they wonder why some fans dislike them.

Redknapp got them into the Champions League for 1 season, after spending a bucket load of money. Yet, Tottenham are currently in the same position as when he took over? How out of character for a club being managed by Harry Redknapp...

Spurs only really got that CL place because of how poor their competitors were that year. Redknapp and his admirers have gone on for years about how good he'd be managing a big team with money... I think Spurs shows just how much of a fucktard he is. He can get poor/average teams playing well by spending money and cheating clubs out of players, but when it comes to being a professional, thoughtful, respectful, tactical manager, he doesn't have a fucking clue.

But still would be my no.1 choice after Capello, the Spurs collapse is coming at just the right time.

This post is insane imo. Wee only finished 4th because of other teams and nothing to do with the quality performances and results we were producing? we then finish 5th (a few points of 4th) and that also proves how poor Redknapp is in your mind? let me guess, champions league quarter final because the competition was poor? get a fucking grip man.

I can name thousands of reasons why someone dislikes Redknapp. Is he dodgy as fuck? probably. Does he talk to the media to much? hell yes. Is he acting like a total moron in regards to the current Modric fiasco? you bet. Does he have the most annoying son ever? well he's up there.

Trying to discredit his achievements with us is pretty small time though tbh.

Bucket loads of money? why do you feel the need to make things up to prove a point?

So Redknapp's been here 2 and a half season (5 transfer windows) and we've signed....

Friedel   -   Free

Bassong - 8m

Kaboul - 5m

Walker and Naughton - combined 7m

Gallas- Free

Palacios - 12m

Kranjcar - 2m

Crouch- 9m

Defoe - 12m

Keane - 12m

VDV - 8M

Sandro - 8m

Total = 83m

Now in that time we've sold

Bent - (11m rising to 16.5m)

O'Hara - 5m

Gunter - 2.5m

Keane - 3m

Taarabt - 1m

So that's basically a 60m net spend in 3 seasons which is in no way "Bucket loads" considering the teams we're competing with spend that in 1 transfer window let alone 5.

Edit : forgot we sold Boateng for 5m too and i'm sure theres a few others.
