oldtype
I'm reasonably confident that he'll go when he says he wants to and not a minute before that.
Jackie Broon
We won't sell Carroll this month. There is no time to get a replacement for our goals and we would get relegated which would cost us more than we'd get from the sale of Carroll. You're making the incorrect assumption that we're not owned and run by fucking idiots.

oldtype
Come to think of it Spurs are probably a "bigger" club than Liverpool in every way, shape, and form now. They have a far superior team, Champions League football, a better chance of getting Champions League football in both the short and long term, and more money. It's safe to say that they've officially "replaced" them as a member of the big four.

"He's not for sale, how many times does it have to be said? They can put together whatever they like. He is not for sale. "I am going to say it one last time, he is not for sale," he reiterated. ChrisMcQuillan
Asked if he was tempted to play Carroll, Pardew replied: "No, not with one leg, no. I think that would have been a bit harsh on the other strikers."
