West Ham agree fee in region of £15m with Liverpool for Andy Carroll

The Cisse deal reveals a lot about how we priorities targets. Cisse was plan A, Maiga was plan B, Maiga 'failed his medical' when Cisse became available for the right price. Also happened with Tiote and that Uruguayan chap. It appears we almost always have a plan B of sorts.

How many 'plan B' players were signed in the final four days of a transfer window? Any unexpected last-minute price hikes (unexpected to our lot, not to anyone with a brain) will see us fucked.

Santon perhaps? Not sure if he was plan B like, pretty sure we went for someone beforehand though.

Milan's interest for Andy Carroll is not entirely waned and could re-ignite suddenly at the end of the market. Has learned exclusively by SportMediaset.it environment close to the player, Liverpool would accept the idea of depriving the player with a loan sale with right of redemption compared to 20 million requested a month ago. The ball is in Milan that would spend $ 1.5 million for the loan.

One month after the first approach, Milan and Liverpool could go back to talking to Andy Carroll. After the European Reds had offered the player to the Rossoneri for a figure closer to 20 million finding a wall in via Turati. Braida has confirmed its interest in the English player but also the will to treat the player on the basis of a loan sale. Liverpool have wavered but - as learned from SportMediaset.it - after a month of poor requests, decided to accept the proposal of Milan for a loan with right of redemption. With an official mail the Reds said they were willing to transfer temporarily to Carroll to Milan for 3 million plus a right of redemption set to 17 for the upcoming season.

The will of Liverpool is not to give the player a Premier League teams while the same player has refused the transfer to Russia. The ball moved to Milan but seems not to want to spend more than 1.5 million euros for the loan. The Reds have taken the first step, if Milan will want the table is already set. "Otherwise Carroll is likely to become a player in the Newcastle" explains Francesco Marseglia, a servant who is closely following the developments of the negotiations.

Can't see someone like Carroll leaving the country. He's not the most cultured lad. Unless there's an Only Fools and Horses bar in Milan.

Whereas Gazza was well known for his fondness for foreign literature and architecture.

Gazza going to Italy helped ruin his career. He basically just went bezerk when he got there, never learned a word of the language and just was out on the piss all the time.

So exactly the same as his time in England then.
