oldtype
You know what, aside from us going down this has probably been the most entertaining year of football in a long, long while.
Segun Oluwaniyi
You know what, aside from us going down this has probably been the most entertaining year of football in a long, long while. Definitely, and of all the major leagues, only Italy has had a boring title race.

Dave
What does Barcelona only having the one shot on target matter when Chelsea only had one in the first leg?
Segun Oluwaniyi
What does Barcelona only having the one shot on target matter when Chelsea only had one in the first leg? Because Barca were a goal down, and are the best attacking force in the history of football and the world itself.

brummie
What does Barcelona only having the one shot on target matter when Chelsea only had one in the first leg? Quite right. Barcelona played the better football throughout and were the side that looked like they wanted to win. Chelsea are efficient but about as entertaining as being repeatedly punched in the kidney. Jayson
Dont agree with this result for football nonsense. Impressive passing football only has any worth if its effective against the opposition. If the opposition sets out a plan to deal with it & it doesnt work, thats just how it is. The players could juggle the ball as they run around the pitch, that would be impressive to. They could only go for sliding tackles endlessly, regardless of whether it was a good moment or not. Again it would make it more entertaining. The problem is, neither tactic would be very effective. Barcelonas passing game doesnt mean anything if they find a side they cant use it against. A result for football tonight would have been chelsea getting a pen, barcelona staying on 11 men & seeing how the game turned out that way. Nothing else. Seems it, since just 30 minutes ago Rosenborg should've had an obvious penalty which would've won me £70.

LiquidAK
LOVE Drogba's reaction, diving prick doesn't deserve to play football again the way he play acts. Should join the Royal Shakespeare Company ffs. Terrible refereeing, really awful, but so glad Barca went through, they deserve it umpteen times more than Chelsea. Cheered so loudly when Iniesta's goal went in that I scared the shit out of the cat, who is currently hiding on the windowsill.

It's like a dirty word now. If you go all out attack and neglect the defence then that's true football but if you set up defensively at the expense of the attack then that is totally wrong and evil and must be stopped.
