I wouldn't worry too much about affording it, it will be factored into the sale price for the club if it is more than expected - effectively it comes out of Ashley's pocket in the long run. Agree to some extent - although that makes it sound as though there was some logical thought process behind the appointment of Souness. He should, though it shouldn't be anything near the silly numbers he's suing for. He can't expect the entire contract even if there was a good reason considering he did walk out and there's no way the three years he had left were worth £10m anyway.
