As sad as it is, the football club will rise again (as Chester and Hallifax have) if the present version does go to the wall. I'd imagine the white elephant of a ground will then be demolished - hopefully with Reynolds watching on, if not inside.

Reynolds man, what a c**t

Disgraceful that that crook was ever allowed to buy a football club.

Safe cracker, wasn't he?

Among other things, went back inside after he left Darlo as well, tax fraud.

Chester were getting around 500 in by the time they were wound up, at the moment they're getting 3,500 which is more than they ever got even when they were in the Football League. Starting again and forging a togetherness with the community has made them better for it.

It could be exactly what Darlo needs, because they're very much a club who's town is almost disinterested. Same with Hartlepool, plenty of football fans in the area who simply don't bother with their local team.

Partly to do with ticket prices.  Darlington tickets start at £18 for adults, for us it's £26, at Sunderland it's £25, at Boro it's £24.  That's not a huge difference in ticket prices to see local Premiership or Championship football.

Very happy to see this given that my second club is Hartlepool, my entire family is from Hartlepool and has ties to the club.

they may stand more of a chance if the people from darlo, well, supported darlo.

18 quid to watch Conference football.  No chance will people go for that much.

Yeah, said that he wasn't bothered if the club was liquidised or not and 97% of fans still like him. Blames the city council for not building shops around the stadium

Just seen that as well. Absolute c**k.
