Guest hatter
We have a f**kwit owner. A f**kwit managing director. A f**kwit director of football. Two f**kwit coaches without a clue. Players who don't seem to give a s***. If we do stay up it will be a miracle and if we do what can we look forward to next season with these clowns in charge. But hey lads don't cancel your season tickets. Remember the great long term plan these tw*ts have for the club.

Jayson
Geremi, Smith, Butt & Jonas contributed virtually nothing today. The defence were just hoofing long balls up to 2 strikers who wouldn't reach the 6 foot mark if they stood on each other's shoulders. If you've got Matins and Owen up front, then you need to keep it on the deck, spread it wide and get the midfield up to support the forwards. Sadly the midfield wasn't capable of supporting them as (Jonas apart) they've got no pace or capacity to attack, leading to a massive gulf between them and the strikers. Hull can win headers from our long balls and know there's nobody following up. It was a shambles. That's not a bad analysis of what was wrong with the team set up. With Butt being injured Hughton actually stumbled onto a half balanced line up against Man U, but with "big reputation" players available again his lily-livered instincts took over again. Yes. People complain about Owen not touching the ball, but ffs sake put him in a side who can actually pass the ball to his feet and you might see him getting involved a bit. That's the saddest thing how the Hell did this lot end up running our club? The only good thing about the club is the fans.
Dave
There is absolutely NO CHANCE WHATSOEVER of anything happening regarding our management other than possibly Kinnear being brought back even earlier. I don't know why anybody is even entertaining the idea.
Dave
Hughton reckons we were the only team that wanted the win. By the sounds of it they could (and perhaps should) have been home and dry by half time.

Jayson
Watching the game we were complete and utter crap. There were no positives to speak of. Second half we simply had the ball more, no form of creativity outside of Jonas who generally fails at shooting and crossing.

Exactly. 5'8" Michael Owen is ALWAYS going to do precisely fuck all when he's playing in a side that just hoofs balls up to his head and doesn't support him from midfield. I don't blame Owen one bit for his no-show today, it's the "tactics" that we're playing that meant the bloke didn't stand a chance of getting involved. I don't know why anybody is even entertaining the idea. Agreed - but it badly needs to happen. Otherwise, it's relegation. I wonder how many s/t's Ashley and Llambias think they can shift when that happens? It'll be begging letters through the door - not only of present s/t holders but past (like me) as well. Syrette
Don't listen to him then. I've not willingly listened to a post-match interview with a manager - or any interview with them for that matter - since Keegan left. Almost never saying anything of interest, worth and/or wisdom. Just patronising, deluded nonsense (or in Kinnear's case, all that plus occasionally abusive).

Guest Mani
26 in 64.? how many of those were from the penalty spot. 64 starts out of how many possible games? Owen cares more about attending places like Cheltenham than NUFC.

Worth reading what he said in the days Journal http://www.journallive.co.uk/nufc/newcastle-united-news/2009/03/14/michael-owen-exclusive-interview-61634-23141325/ Although I doubt it will cut any slack with you.
