Gash
Campbell and Evans wold be an awesome partnership that would also be good on promotion aswell? Michael Johnson would also be a good loan? signing if he gets in shape!
Incognito
As much as loads of that is probably shite, Evans would be a mint signing for the Championship I'd expect at least 50 goals from those 2 next season.
Guest gggg
What a fucking hopeless article even for a Sunday.
binnsy
why would the club make an apparent concerted effort to keep Bassong & Taylor and then bring an aging centre half to the club. Sol won't come here and not play and the 2 young lads won't be happy sitting on the bench when they could be playing in the premiership!! or will Bassong play left back? Cajun
Would certainly take that, even though it is 99% likely to be a load of shit. Evans and Steven Taylor aren't the best of friends though are they?
Skirge
;D The Definitive Newcastle United Transfer Manifesto With takeover talks at a new peak, and Mike Ashley destined for the exit door, sources at St James Park indicate that potential gaffer Alan Shearer has already lined-up the essential purchases necessary to lift the Magpies back into the Premier League next season. The list undoubtedly contains Championship and League One players in abundance, one would imagine, and in the spirit of such, The Bleacher Report is proud to present the following list of 43 players who are destined for greatness if nurtured in the proper manner. The most prominent purchases will be outlined on the last page of this presentation, but each of these gentlemen are skilled in their respective positions and will only improve the Magpies if given the opportunity. [Note: There were several others who had made the list, but had to be changed last minute as other clubs had signed them last week] ==================================================== Newcastle United gaffer in-waiting Alan Shearer may have some help from the fans when signing players which could begin from next week, according to The News of the World. The best of the best from the lower leagues and those playing reserve team football in the Premier League are being identified by the club's supporters as the Toon prepare for life in the Championship. In the spirit of such, The Bleacher Report has released a list of 43 players who they feel are diamonds in the rough. The well-researched list can be found here:
Guest westamfan
Can't believe the rebuilding job at Newcastle hasn't started yet. You've got less than 8 weeks now before the window shuts.

Parsley
The Daily Star (I know, I know) had us linked with Michael Mifsud, who I think is now out of contract. Would be a decent signing.

Boro have signed one lad from Colchester, and WBA haven't bought or sold anyone either.
Dave
If there's any truth in Shearer wanting Ched Evans then I suspect he's going to miss out. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/s/sheff_utd/8135830.stm Sheffield United manager Kevin Blackwell has said he remains confident of signing Welsh international striker Ched Evans from Manchester City. The Blades had an initial offer rejected for the 20-year-old. Blackwell told BBC Radio Sheffield: "We're still monitoring the situation. Manchester City know we're interested and our bid is on the table. "City have only just returned for pre-season and we are now waiting for them to decide what happens next." Dinho lad
didn't realise that fulham had released moritz voltz and leon andreasen. Could be decent players for us, i think. (Voltz only at RM, though!)
