Dave
To be honest, I think the most pressing question from that Chronicle article has to be... ..who is the 47th opponent?

thewellander
That news story on the opening page reads like my NUFC wet dream, tbh. U.S. owners who want to re-brand NUFC on a global level means the team would likely come to North America for friendlies. But then I remember that this if the Newcastle United takeover thread, so none of it is true.
SteveMc
I thought that too Dave. Like the Prem's 39th game idea. Maybe we're all off to the isle of Man for a low rent version in May?
Guest antz1uk
i am liking this and so happy for the Chronicle, SSN are getting things after the Local press they have taken a lot of flack lately but lets face it, its been so hard for them to get anything, while david craig has had his tongue so far up DL ass, maybe this is a start of the good PR from possible new owners

Frazzle
Fleishmann-Hillard Rejected a proposal from them last year for some policy work. Fleishmann is the kid out of Corrie isn't it? And Hillard was the serial killer.
Guest icemanblue
You'd think the last few months would have made people a lot more cautious over these stories. There's a denial coming, just around the corner.
