The Prophet
I disagree with The Prophet on how bad we've been thus far, but if we play like we did today against Italy we'll definitely be going out. A well executed game plan against France follwed by two very unconvincing victories. The whole team lacks a purpose as well as any form of cohesion. Guest bimpy474
reckon we will lose on penalties to italy after a 0-0 Then we will all come around to your house and destroy you.

Big Geordie
I'd agree with starting Carroll on Sunday night. The Italian's don't like it up them! http://www.bbc.co.uk/archive/imageArchive/images/5200_gall_003.jpg
ElDiablo
I like Welbeck but he's done next to nothing apart from his goal and poses almost no threat. Would put Carroll in on Sunday and tell him to wind up their two centre halfs. That's nonsense that. Didn't play well tonight, like. What's he done apart from being neat and tidy and generally passing the ball backwards? Distinctly remember him being poor against Sweden before his goal and we did nothing as a team against France. I do like him, but he needs to be receiving the ball much higher up the pitch to be effective which won't happen they way we're playing.

Yorkie
I like Welbeck but he's done next to nothing apart from his goal and poses almost no threat. Would put Carroll in on Sunday and tell him to wind up their two centre halfs. That's nonsense that. Didn't play well tonight, like. It isn't at all. Aside from the goal against Sweden (which, although it was all about Walcott, he took well) and one little jinking run midway through the second half tonight - he's not threatened in the slightest. I like him but he's had his chance and tbh i think Carroll is worth the shirt more than he is. At least there's a constant opportunity for a shot on target with Carroll. Welbeck holds the ball up well, but that's all it is at the moment - he seems to spend the majority of the match thirty yards out with his back to goal. Promising player though. As i said, that little run in the second half this evening was a cracking bit of movement and turn of pace; shame we haven't seen more of it.
RodneyCisse
Milner should be on the bench to come on last 20 mins to cover parker or gerrard and run his socks off which is all he's good at.

His first touch and link up play has been abysmal.
The Prophet
So far for a so called defensive midfielder, Parker has been taken apart by Nasri, Yarmolenko and worst of all Svensson. Deary me. Gerrard's been canny mind.
Yorkie
Aye, i thought he did alright against France, but really can't seem to find anything that Parker actually does.
ponsaelius
If we were playing in the opponents half more it would be Welbeck every time, and I still think we should stick with the Man U partnership personally. The way we played tonight though, the number of times Hart howked it forward particularly in the first half - suggest is might be worth playing Carroll. Pops up with the odd good challange but other than that he enjoys giving the ball away, oh falls over a lot too.
AlanSkÃrare
My biased opinion: we played some of the best football so far in this tournament. We did enough going forward to deserve to go through and suffered from a bad goalkeeper and that fucking Lustig not guarding his post against Ukraine. And I well and truly hope Z has silenced all his critics once and for all. Best striker in Europe.

ponsaelius
Milner and Parker are no different to the wank that they were in our horrendous 06-07 season. I can't believe 5 years down they make up half of England's midfield at a major tournament.
