Fenham Mag
Quite a good squad tbf.
Beren
Much better forwards than the squad has had in a long, looong time IMO.
ilikenewcastle
Probably as good a squad as could be picked, but I expect the usual *average player A* should have been called up instead of *average player B*
Ronaldo
Lacking at least 3 top class defenders. Good squad, though.
ilikenewcastle
Think of all the defenders from recent years who weren't first choice who would walk straight into the team of 2015. Keown, King, Woodgate, Carragher, Upson. Definitely the worst squad in my time (which is one reason why I think sacking Roy after the world cup would have been pointless)
Disco
What's with the 3 (poorly performing) LBs? Is Roy channeling his inner Pardle?
SEMTEX
Still would prefer sacking off half of them oldies for young randoms. My squad would be massively unbalanced though I'm sure.

Definitely the worst squad in my time (which is one reason why I think sacking Roy after the world cup would have been pointless) No it wouldn't because Roy and his coaching staff pale in comparison to the best teams in international football. It's been the biggest problem with England for like 2 decades, the coaching and tactical acumen is abysmal and still is. Also it's nowhere near the worst squad, not even close. Beren
Midfield is the weakest area in the squad.
Mole_Toonfan
I think defence is personally but it's not far behind.
Incognito
Smalling and Walker. Fuck a duck.
Magpie
You could probably count on one hand the amount of appearances Luke Shaw has made this season yet still gets called up.
Froggy
He has played 16 times, Mr Merrick.

The College Dropout
For the first time in a long time we look good in attack but poor defensively. How many of the CB's are having good seasons?
Astroblack
John Terry is.
Ronaldo
Midfield is the weakest area in the squad. Not a chance. There's only one CB I'd legitimately want starting for NUFC ffs.
The College Dropout
John Terry is. He's not looked that impressive since the turn of the year. Without Matic in front he's looked ordinary. But aye overall he's probably been the best CB this season.
sixx
Would've liked to see Charlie Austin at the expense of Danny Welbeck.
SEMTEX
Austin for Kyle Walker imo. Or no-one for Kyle Walker. Fuck Kyle Walker.

But aye overall he's probably been the best CB this season. I think he needs to be recalled. He'd add some much needed experience to the team. Plus him and Cahill are Chelsea's CBs. He should be banned for life from England after what he was found guilty of. He was never as good for England as he was Chelsea and at 35 by the Euro's that won't change.
