GG
6-1 is still 6-1 and that was one of our strongest teams for the most part of the game. I know it's pre-season but if you're not alarmed by that then you're the coolest cucumber around. Meh. Pre-season form rarely has any strong correlation with season form. The Prophet
Pre-season is all about fitness, anyway. The man talks sense, someone has to do it.
Guest Geordie Boyo
Pre-season is all about fitness, anyway. The man talks sense, someone has to do it. Where's the sense in being fit if you can't play football?

Frazzle
Well L.Orient managed to build up fitness and thrash a team at the same time....
Keefaz
Think it was a bit of a risk sticking Forster in like that especially with a rejigged defence.
EthiGeordie
Losing by this margin is a disgrace... MA can you please let us go now??? How low can we go....

Where's the sense in being fit if you can't play football? And keeping a squad intact which recently got relegated didn't already tell you this? mattynufc
I think the players have spoken. If you believe that bollocks then you are just looking for a diversion from how crap our players actually are and how little they care about the club.
Frazzle
I think the players have spoken. did they forget their lines last week? Exactly, what's the point of thrashing Darlington only to do this, not much of a protest...sounds like its been organised by fading star.

Guest Alan Shearer 9
Hopefully we'll sign John Terry and Lescott next week and then Hughes will have the squad he needs to challenge for the title.
Guest fading star
Pre-season is all about fitness, anyway. The man talks sense, someone has to do it. It’s also about developing tactics and team spirit. Losing by five goals to Leyton Orient suggests all is not going well.

Cajun
Calm down people! Who was missing from last season today? A season when yes we were shit but we were knocked out of the premiership by one goal (and West Brom were much worse).
relámpago blanco
True Cajun but we could do with a manager. At least Hughton has betan WBA once.
