Village Idiot
I think the only thing Real Madrid fans remember about Faubert is him taking a nap in the subs bench http://jamesdihinx.files.wordpress.com/2009/05/faubert.jpg

Village Idiot
When you talk about leftfield deals that is up there. Ramos had been asking for a right winger. But surely they could have done better than somebody who was warming the subs bench of an average English team.

Village Idiot
Madrid lead, Ronaldo pen. Canales' playing for Racing. Wasn't expecting that, guy's been basically coasting since he signed for Madrid.
Village Idiot
Really, really starting to think that Alonso is the most important player of Real Madrid. The difference in composure and organization when he's not in the pitch (like the Lyon defeat) is astounding. They are pretty much in lump it to Ronaldo mode now. Still they are going to beat Racing comfortably, mind.
Ronaldo
The Villareal (6-2) game best represents what Alonso is all about. Time and time again he picked the ball up in tight areas and found Ronaldo and Higuain running the channels. The amount they got in behind via Alonso passes in that game was absolutely ridiculous. midds
Hats off to the director for anticipating what Gerrard's reaction would be to seeing Torres go off. Them not getting 4th is the beginning of the end. Until the yanks sell up obviously.

He then sat with an ice pack on his leg.

Ashley17
Torres is always either just back from being injured or being rested for a bigger game. It's boring as fuck listening to Benitez's excuses. BBC aren't showing Liverpool first, fucking hell it must be Easter
