The other games today - 2009/10

Precisely why I don't like watching foreign (well, southern European) football. Disgusting, dirty behaviour all round, boring pretty football that gets you precisely fucking nowhere and horrific refereeing to top things off.

Also, Beglin, kindly throw yourself off the nearest cliff. Fucking wanker.

I don't enjoy his football style too much, but you still gotta love José. :smitten:

Inter did commit less fouls though, so you can't say they were the ones ruining the game

Because the ref gave them everything.

Referee also gave Barca a ten man advantage for 70 minutes. Shut yourself and stop complaining.

If he hadn't raised his hands, he'd have still been on the pitch. It's his own f***ing fault for being stupid enough to push the player away with his hand.

And if Barca players hadn't come into contact with Inter players they would not have opportunity to dive. Do not let minor infractions from players excuse vast incompetence for highly paid and qualified referees.

The ref had no other option man. He raised his hands above the neck - EVERYONE knows that's a sending off - he shouldn't have f***ing done it. You can shield the ball without putting the palm of your hand on someone's face.

There would be numerous reds in every game if we always applied the rules that way.

It was just barely above the neck and Motta didn't even look at him while he was doing it, how's he know he was going to touch his face? He's just trying to hold the opponent off. If Busquets hadn't thrown himself on the floor then he wouldn't have even got a yellow.

if you don't know where someone is you use your arm not the hand but yes biscuits did go overbaord, as did eto'o monets earlier to get pedro booked.

the difference is that milans defensive tactics are built round underhand play (as they were against us those few years ago and as italians have done for years). the only way round it is for ANY deliberate foul to be yellow carded.

It was Inter's tactics Milan went out ages ago during Rooney's awesome period, I'm not sure if Newcastle have played against Milan plus they weren't that under handed Bellamy was a twat and Shearer lost his rag

Did you watch the second leg? Dirtiest, most underhanded team we've ever played.

Yes I did I was in the away end getting attacked by flares and bottles of piss, I'm not sure why I defaulted to the home leg maybe it's because I'm annoyed at the Radio 5 Live Barca love in that was tonight's coverage.  I'm just in from a shit day at work and maybe over reacting to the radio coverage

stop being pedantic, you know exactly who i meant.

as for bellamy he was whacked 3 times before striking back (and i don't mean 3 strong challenges, i mean punched, in the first 5 mins). yeds he shouldf have held himself and took more of it or learn to do similar back........................then again if everyone learned to do similar back i wouldn't go. it would be shite to watch, even more shite than what we served up last season.

i'm told there was a team even worse in one of our fairs cup runs in the early 70's.

I'm not being pedantic there is only one team called Milan, it's something the press get massively wrong in England but in Italy they are known as Inter or Internationale

Re Bellamy he was pushed and buffeted but his was a very blantant retaliation much more worthy of a red card than Motta's tonight

Football Club Internazionale Milano SpA

People may not call them Milan, of course. But they're still named it so it's not wrong what madras is doing.

I wonder if the Inter fans were lobbing about piss tonight?

and asking the police to move out the way so they could get a better run up.

horrid group of fans, horris policing.....and not surprisingly very few of them on the streets afterwards to give us the hiding they promised.

the most cowardly bunch of twats i've come across.

I was cheering on Barcelona again tonight, but its win-win because of Mourinho. Despite the lack of chances or action, I found it morbidly fascinating. Busquets' play acting was shocking, but expected - as was the time wasting. For all the possession and territorial advantages, I was actually surprised they scored one because despite the pretty football, Inter were completely comfortable and begrudgingly, the best team (over the two legs) won. That goal should have stood though....what a thoroughly appalling referee.

Who'd have thought an Inter-Bayern final? haha

PS/ The Chivu-Pandev incident was definitely planned all along, the crafty bastard!

I think I'm going to name my first child Jose (after Enrique and Mourinho)  :smitten: :smitten:

Get

in.

Barca shown for the filthy underhand cheating cunts that they are. I'm glad they turned the sprinklers on afterwards too, show them up for the dirty bastards that they are. I bet you it was Messi who flipped the switch.

whisper it but fred pissed me off mightily over this. he is interviewed on the local news acknowledging the flares and someone getting burnt...... it never made it into the clubs account of the game to UEFA.

Just saw that Barca put the sprinklers on the celbrating Inter players. What bitter losers  :thdn:

Said it before. They might be fantastic, but they are dirty and incredibly sore losers.

We have a quite classless board, sadly. Pretty sure the order came out of them.
