S.S.R.
When they showed the tackle that broke Ramsey's ankle, It looked like he was standing in a weird way and Shawcross' tackle (fnar) didn't look reckless. More self-inflicted than a bad challenge? Shearer managed to fuck up his knee all by himself.
Disco
Valencias away kit is so great. I love the orange shorts, not a typical color. (Valencia is known for their oranges, and it's a nod to that) Valencia's kits are always pretty tasty.
M4
Knee damage is different though, I'd guess most ligament injuries are self inflicted!

Village Idiot
Valencia go one up via Silva, although it looked there was a pelanty on the other box just before the counterattack.
Dave
Forlan equalises from the spot. Ludicrous scenes before it.
Village Idiot
Forlan equalises from the spot. Ludicrous scenes before it. Aye, looks like the ref shat in his shorts and gave the pen after all that mess It was a stonewall one anyway.
Fugazi
VI, who do you think will end up top scorer in La Liga? Looks like it will probably be one of Villa, Messi, Higuain and Ronaldo. http://soccernet.espn.go.com/stats/topscorers?league=esp.1&year=2009&seasontype=1&cc=null - Should be an interesting battle. Village Idiot
If he keeps that form, it's going to be Cronaldo. Just look at how he hoards Real's attacking play, he leads the league in shots taken by a country mile and he spent a month in the sidelines! Messi's still probably going to have his highest scoring season though. Villa will fall a bit short of last season's tally, Valencia has grown as a team this season and they have more goals coming from other players. Higuaín will be up there, but I don't think he'll outscore Cronaldo at the end.
Ronaldo
I think the pair of them are really on the same wavelength now, it should frighten the piss out of you.

The Prophet
Sporting lead against Porto, I wonder why I have this game on. 3-0 now. Absolute no show from Porto, having said that Lisbon have looked canny, very similar to the Everton game midweek.

Village Idiot
Kun's missed three 1 on 1's ffs. He does that a lot, missing 1 on 1s, needs to improve his composure in these situations. You need to get yourself in them in order to miss them, mind.
Village Idiot
Palencia's goalkeeper (Spanish Segunda B, our third flight), scored a goal hitting it from his own box today. There's even video of it! (Go to www.marca.com and scroll down until you see an embedded video)
