Maybe our best player but he's not the "best midfielder in England" he's been very good but was dreadful for the 3 years prior to this season, not to mention spending some of that time in jail ffs. His history of behaving like a complete scumbag means that people will jump all over him when he comes out with this kind of nonsense & it's something he's only brought on himself. Skirge Posted April 10, 2011 Share Posted April 10, 2011 Being our player of the season has nothing to do with today's game, no one is disputing he has been brilliant for us this season.. he is being judged on today's performance and it was shocking. Pardew made him Captain expecting him to lead by example and keep us focused but instead he used the Captaincy as an excuse to fkn cry on and on at the ref instead on just concentrating on his job as a footballer.
