midds
So that's a LB, a strikers, a CH and now another midfielder we need. A week to get them. Farce. At least the wagebill's gone done by another £3m though. That's the main thing. Sick of this shit.
Shak
Colo will be next out of the door before the window shuts. Also speaks volumes that Smith is still at the club..... We can only hope so. Strikes me as a greedy cunt, that haircut can't be cheap to maintain.
Guest michaelfoster
Yup - defo on his way now then. [n]Another masterstroke by NUFC in getting shot of one of your most influential players[/b] and probably paying him off in the process too. Only NUFC can bring you back down to earth like this, 3 days after a derby win. It's almost as if it's done on purpose...... how would you know John? thought your still not going to games as a protest iirc
Si
After his start to the season and the fact that QPR asked us first if they could talk to him we should have just sat him down and offered a deal there and then.
ponsaelius
Time to buy a QPR shirt David28 already has.
Foluwashola
Ah, victory against the mackems and things were temporarily looking up. Classic NUFC.
Dave
At least it's another of our best players leaving. Can't have too much of that kind of thing.
A.C
I don't rate him as high as most do. But even I think this is ridiculous.
BONTEMPI
Bye Joey Fucking disgrace from all involved tbh. There had better be something good coming in or Mike will get a fucking shock.
Steggy
Bye Joey. :-[ Will be pretty gutting to see him against us in under 2 weeks time. I'll give him a good reception. Ashley needs fucking shot with poo coated bullets tbh.

At least the wagebill's gone done by another £3m though. That's the main thing. Sick of this s***. We won't be able to get a replacement for Joey as the other clubs now know we need to replace Joey and that will make it difficult to get a new signing across the line at such short notice - that or some other bollox excuse Pardew will give us next week. Guest bimpy474
so baffled by thies, he keeps saying his hands are tied n all that jazz... how so? if ur under contract for another and you want to stay why leave? One example could be: "If you refuse to leave we'll let you rot in the reserves." after the QPR inquiry came in. Not so much as a leap of faith, more a leap into a paranoid turd this one mate It's not really. I mean, we're letting him go for free because the guys upstairs want rid. If someone offered to take him, I'd think they'd be pushing at least a little to get him out the door. I dont think they could make him leave, but the contract from Q.P.R, its there on the table, I know fatty and his fantasy island midget Dekka wanted Joey out, but they were doing that by not offering a contract, the fact Pardew played him in the last 2 games proved they couldn't force him out imo obviously. Cronky
Joey Barton is moving because QPR is offering him a contract and NUFC isn't. Simple as. But if people want to bury their heads in the sand and blame it on the money AGAIN then go ahead. It looks like quite a few clubs haven't offered him a contract. Si
Colo will be next out of the door before the window shuts. Also speaks volumes that Smith is still at the club..... That is the fear now, there is only Colo and Jonas left to get rid of. Tiote. Then in another season Barfa & Cabaye.
Guest ObiChrisKenobi
We all knew this was coming, don't see the reason for another half hearted meltdown.

RupertCommunicator
I would have thought that if Newcastle was so precious to Barton, he would be willing to give up Twitter. And I would have thought that the board would have been willing to offer one of it's key players a new contract on the proviso that he gives up Twitter. Shambles all round, only one party is the winner here, and that is QPR.
SUPERTOON
We all knew this was coming, don't see the reason for another half hearted meltdown. Maybe because we now have no chance to replace him.

Steggy
Most of us would agree that last season, our six best players were: Carroll (despite only being here for half of it) Nolan Tiote Enrique Barton Colo We have now sold 4 of those 6, before the next season has even started and fuck knows how long it'll be before Tiote and Colo are gone. Keep it up mike you fat cunt.
Disco
At least it's another of our best players leaving. Can't have too much of that kind of thing. It's alreet man Dave, we'd never sell (give away) without having a replacement already through the door. Harder to buy players if people know you badly need them remember Alan told us... “The left-back situation is a week down the line and the plan we had went straight into action, and everybody knows we need a left-back and it is being made difficult not by us but by other clubs.”

S.S.R.
Maybe it isn't some evil machination and quite simply that Ashley and co don't value him as much Barton values himself.

Tiote bought by Ashely as was Ben Arfa, same for Cabaye, you cant strip assests you just added. I know what your getting at but we have replaced players who have left, its just whether Marveaux, Abied, Cabaye and a big if, a new left back and striker are added are all good enough.
