Joey Barton

I'm sure if Barton ends up in a club in the premier league (which is likely to happen), when he'll play against Newcastle, he will break Ben arfa's other leg...

I really can't understand the vision of those who support or understand his behaviour. He's really a strange person...

No way he would do something like that. He's got something against the fat owner and his right-hand-man, not against his (soon to be) former players.

Remember when he was lucky not to be sent-off in his first derby for a challenge he grew up in the Man City academy with?

Wasn't against a former player iirc. , though.

But don't you think that the way Nufc owners behave could send a "bad" signal to your new signings ? I mean why do they want to get rid of all your players like Nolan, Carroll, Enrique... ?

Of course, no respectable Premiership player would want to join Newcastle United.

Our target market is foreigners who don't know any better and are desperate for a chance at the Premier League on twice their money.

It is a bit annoying when you manage a football club, especially a club like Newcastle United

So obviously "this group of lads" is all but dismantled now. We've lost a lot of spirit and graft which certainly kept us up last season. However, I believe this "new group of lads", meaning Ba, Ben Arfa, Cabaye, Abeid, Marveaux and I'll include Vuckic in that aswell, have the potential to be better for us. Technically I think they're more gifted than their predecessors. Obviously it's a massive gamble, but I'm trying to be positive, this could still turn out to be a good season.

Joey has hardly lifted the lid on a massive secret, we all know the owner and his cronies are a bunch of soppy cunts who haven't the first clue about running a proper football club. What it has done, is brought things out a bit more to the public and non- Newcastle fans. Lots of people at work are giving Ashley a lot of shit for the deciet and such about the transfer money disappearing and the general way he runs our club. Joey has over stepped the mark, of course, but in doing so may have started the ball rolling for Ashley & Co to finally be on their way out. As someone posted earlier, anarchy might be the only way to overthrow these guys.

I realise there's a lot of fairytale thinking in there, but I can't just be enveloped totally in the negativity currently surrounding us.

I know which is sort of my point. If he ends up playing first team football there, it'll more than likely be because they see him as a cheap alternative to spending big cash to replace big money sales.

not exactly helping himself imho with his consistent twitter comments, a dignified silence until he's in a position to actually give his side of the story would work better for him

Aye he's making an absolute dick of himself tbh.

This season will definitely make men out of a few boys very quickly.  We'll see who can step up and who can't.
