As you mention he is weak in the air, but I don't agree with him being weak in the tackle, he's actually had a couple of good tackles and a couple of blocks so far this season. By all means, he's no world-beater but if he can continue to deliver those early crosses as he did for the 2nd on Saturday he's definitely worth the spot IMO.
