Crystal Palace 0 - 2 Newcastle - 22/08/09 - post match reaction from page 20

Right, seriously, what's going on, is this like when Orson wells faked an alien attack. Is this really happening?

The league just really isn't as hard as people have you believe.

This is proper mental though. First I watch us pass it like Brazil against Reading. Then we change it up against Sheffield, then we race to a 2-0 lead here. Any bets on what Warnock's gonna whinge about?

It's not fair. Newcastle had full Internationals on that pitch against us. The ref would have noticed had goal line technology been introduced. I'm fuming!"

I'm amazed by this. Just amazed ...

Hughton better be kept at the club in some capacity after this effort. Very pleased for him.

:celb:

Urgh man, just Urgh.

In some capacity, keep him as a coach is what he's saying, which I agree with.

Thanks for clearing that up for the less cerebral amongst us.

It's that kind of mentality that got Roeder appointed as manager...

Hooray!  Ashley must be delighted, he's sold all those useless players that were stopping us from winning games and he can get us back in the premier league without even needing to hire a manager or buy any players.

Yup. This is dangerous. It gives Ashley the hope that we will walk this elague without having to spend money and by waiting, he may even recoup his money

He might think promotion is possible, but I think he will be told in no uncertain terms we need players as cover

By who though? Who would tell him that he would actually listen to? Can't see him listening to Hughton or the players. :undecided:

Don't be silly. Hughton was already a coach here and was doing a good job and when the manager comes I think he should be kept in that position.

Roeder was already head of the academy here and was doing a good job and when the manager came we thought he should have returned to that position...
