Tooj
Bet he's still a canny player though. The fucking twat. He was nowhere near as good as he thinks he was though.
Sifu
I sincerely hope Di Canio remembers on the night that the game is all for a charitable cause and that such occasion is not one to satisfy his ego/wind up Newcastle fans. One question is whether Harper is actually fine with Di Canio's selection...couldn't he have vetoed it? The spotlight should be on Harper and the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation, not that c*** Di Canio. Guest mary
It's not solely for the SBR foundation. It's for charities across the region The organisers are the Newcastle United Foundation. They've arranged all of it. Sorry to say the DiCanio inclusion is to help pick up ticket sales. The decision was delayed due to security discussion with Northumbria Police over potential issues arising
Superior Acuña
Good on Di Canio, I say.
Dr Colossus
In two minds about this: On one hand, yes it's a pretty uncomfortable situation to have him there, given his viewpoints. But, one would assume he's doing it for free, so it's not exactly like it's him raising money for the foundation. I doubt anyone is going to see him specifically, and in the scheme of things the most important thing is the money gets raised. I would compare it to when the Susan G. Komen breast cancer charity refused money raised by Pornhub. Also, while I doubt anyone wants to see him on our pitch again after last May, fair play to him for putting himself in a pantomime villain role, which might make it a more fun occasion for some. To be honest though, I'm going to see some of the greats playing, on both sides, and I'd rather not have that cunt there.
Jack Flash
Good on Di Canio, I say. Yep. Might even get a few mackems in now which will only help the cause.
WarrenBartonCentrePartin
Barton or Clark to clatter him.
Ketsbaia
I guess he's either winding us up by playing at SJP and representing a team nobody ever remembers he played for, or he's helping raise money for charity by playing with some mates. We need a pantomime villain anyway.
BrettNUFC
Good on Di Canio, I say. Yep. Might even get a few mackems in now which will only help the cause. So much niceness for the darkside

nufcjb
I for one would love to see this match..so many 'disputes' between some of our players let alone with the mackem t***.. you got Dyer and Bowyer again, Shearer and Gillespie, Shearer and Barton, Barton and everyone who comes near him.. I expect something from this match will make the headlines on SSN the next day.. Would love to see Barton clattering PDC tbh..imagine the fans getting behind Barton for once..would be a f***ing great atmosphere..!
Dr Colossus
I guess he's either winding us up by playing at SJP and representing a team nobody ever remembers he played for Off topic, but how come Christian Vieri is on their team? 8 games and 1 goal for Milan 143 games and 103 goals for Inter I want Sheva. Tiresias
First reaction is fair play to him, raise some publicity for the thing, get some more attendance in, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and assume he's doing it for the right reasons. loki679
Don't see the problem at all. Fair play to him for doing it imo.
midds
Good on Di Canio, I say. So do I, the game is for charity and that's all that should matter. Mostly this but I wouldn't be too disappointed if someone nailed him.

Guest mary
The scum will use this as an excuse to come to St James and take the p*ss. Hope the police have realised this. That is why the announcement was delayed due to security considerations. Bear in mind, anything spent on security comes out of the charity pot so they had to think long and hard about this. Guest mary
Reason previous tickets were taking so long is that they weren't being printed as priority was given to PL and COC games (which is fair as Harper is only renting the stadium) Now the Box Office system is printing the tickets as soon as orders come in so it shouldn't be long A broadcaster is still in negotiations with the Foundation but its still looking ropey
