Disco Posted January 19, 2015 Share Posted January 19, 2015 Cracking piece that, definitely captured what (I believe) SP was all about and the general malaise involved with being not only a fan of Newcastle but somebody that goes to games. SP gave a lot of fans, myself included, something to hang their hat on with a bit of pride. It's been a long time since I've been able to do that as a Newcastle fan. It's just a shame that it also re-affirmed the grip that not only Ashley has on the club but the amount of people happy to gobble it up too. Ambitionless from foot-solider to owner.
