Neil
GK - Ledley King, gets injured too much to play outfield, excellent player CDF - Peter Crouch, his height would clear every aerial threat in the game, good touch for big man CDF - Walcott, as a sweeper his pace would balance well with Crouch's height to create an impregnable fortress (the defence) RFB - Van Persie, his incredible left foot would pose interesting questions when played on the right of defence LFB - Petr Cech, he has struggled for form in goal, he would be reborn at left back with his positioning and left peg clearing any danger Midfield - For the midfield this team would just need Andrei Arshavin, he is arguably the best player in the world at this moment by a distance. His Russian stamina and pinpoint passing placement would supply CF - Peter Crouch, doesn't get played much atm but is prolific in internationals against the worlds best teams like Jamaica and Andorra, his height would be big for Arshavin to aim at and he has a big touch for a good man. BENCH Drogba Torres Lampard Gerrard Essien Rooney Vidic Ballack Evra Ivanovic Fabregas Gallas Van Der Sar In case the orignal formation doesn't work. Absolute cracker. Guest firetotheworks
When Given was here he wasn't considered good enough for a top 4 team. Anah, it pisses me right off. Lawro a few weeks ago said something like 'since he's moved to Man City he's definitely become one of the top few keepers in the league.' Blind. captainhaircut
When Given was here he wasn't considered good enough for a top 4 team. He was by me. Me too. He was the best keeper in the league when we had him and he still is now.
Ronaldo
Nah, he's not the best. Great shot stopper but not better than VDS or Reina.
Segun Oluwaniyi
Why all these Premier League threads? Surpirsed no one has made a Championship version.
Guest firetotheworks
Nah, he's not the best. Great shot stopper but not better than VDS or Reina. Better than Reina imo. Purely based on his ability to deal with crosses much more successfully.
Ronaldo
Crosses? You're surely having a laugh.
Guest Alan Shearer 9
When Given was here he wasn't considered good enough for a top 4 team. He was by me. Hahaha, your foolishness makes me laugh. Need I remind you, "you'll never win anything with a team of Shay Givens".

Cronky
Arsenal with Drogba as striker. Not a bad shout. He'd make a big difference to them. But anyway - Friedel Sagna Terry Vidic Clichy Gerrard Essien Fabregas Rooney Arshavin Torres
Ronaldo
It's a terrible shout, Gallas and Vermalen are far from the best 2 defenders in the league.
ElDiablo
Reina Sagna Carvalho Terry Cole Gerrard Lampard Essien Arshavin Torres Drogba That but swap Lampard for Fabregas.
Guest kingdawson
Given Sagna Vidic Terry Cole Essien Fabregas Gerrard Arshavin Modric Torres Sorry, just.... Of all the suggestions on here (Fellaini who's been a sub, Billy who's new to this league, Young who's been borderline shite) Modric's inclusion makes you laugh? Ronaldo
Reina Sagna Carvalho Terry Cole Gerrard Lampard Essien Arshavin Torres Drogba That but swap Lampard for Fabregas. No chance. Fabregas might just get in ahead of Gerrard though.
Segun Oluwaniyi
Ronaldo, are you Steve Mclaren? Choose between Gerrand and Lampard and put an actual wide player in, or change the formation at least.
Ronaldo
Gerrard is a brilliant player out wide, he's just not as good as he is through the middle.

Thespence
I thin Baba is hung up on conventional positions which we don't see for players such as Ronaldo i.e is he a winger? Rooney is he a striker? Where does Giggs play? Gerrard is he a attacking midfielder or a 2nd striker?
Guest firetotheworks
Given Sagna Vidic Terry Cole Essien Fabregas Gerrard Arshavin Modric Torres Sorry, just.... Of all the suggestions on here (Fellaini who's been a sub, Billy who's new to this league, Young who's been borderline s****) Modric's inclusion makes you laugh? Yes, because those other inclusions were as part of a team working as a team, and an alternative was suggested which included the best players possible. Modric in the same midfield as Fabregas, Gerrard, Arshavin and Essien? Really?....reeeaaally?
