Thespence
Strange that Shearer brought Ferris in last season wonder if Al does not have faith in DW.
Keefaz
Is it true that he can kill a man with just his thumbs?
chicago_shearer
Is he supposed to be a good physio?
Mike
With all the work he's had to do, I can't imagine him being anything other than the best physio in the world.

Newcastle Fan
He's the reason we haven't won anything all those years.
Wallace
Steve Howey praised him to the hilt and said he was the best he had worked with. It was a good interview.

Guest tyzer
Heres the link, http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/p004zm5q/Total_Sport_11_11_2009/ For Derek Wright skip forward to 1.20:50 I like the bit at the end where they talked about when physios run on the pitch and race each other to get to their injured players, and Derek Wright said once that Darren Peacock deliberately blocked the other physio so that Derek Wright could win. Mowen
I has him down as winner in that race against the Charlton physio. Everybody knows that DW used to post on here as alex don't they?
WarrenBartonCentrePartin
aside from the physio race, my other fond memory of Derek is the 3-2 vs. Barcelona. Tino heads in his third (I think it was), the camera cuts to an ecstatic Newcastle bench, behind Dalglish who has both arms aloft, is Derek. One hand in the air, the other appearing to be scratching his arse.
magpie418
With all the work he's had to do, I can't imagine him being anything other than the best physio in the world. Or the worst.
Benwell Lad
I has him down as winner in that race against the Charlton physio. Everybody knows that DW used to post on here as alex don't they? You serious ? Alex is sorely missed, added something with his intelligence, wit and insight. Sadly theres a lot less of it on here nowadays. Back to DW - always looked good to have a couple of hard looking b@stards on our bench at intimidating away matches in Europe rather than scrawny charvas like Terry Mac. AyeDubbleYoo
25 years in any company is something to be proud of... lasting that long at Newcastle is nothing short of a miracle. I don't know whether he's any good, but well done to him for that.
