Nobby
Kevin Keegan - thought to be too attacking, defence suffered so bring in defensive man Kenny Daglish - too defensive so bring in sexy football Ruud Gullit - who turned out to know nothing about the fans or area so bring in local lad Bobby Robson - was said to have lost the dressing room so bring in tough man to sort it out Graeme Souness - whos tactics were shit and wasted alot of money so bring in someone who has done well at the club and his tactics seem to work and is quite a cheap option Glenn Roeder - will this go on forever? Leazes1986
I just can't think of anyone who would want to risk their reputation by taking on this job. Can't blame Roeder for taking it really. He would have enjoyed his time in charge last season, and he got a lot of support of the fans. He had a job for life with the academy though. Anyone think Curbishley is worth trying? I know a lot of people will probably want a bigger name, but we simply aren't a huge attraction with the fat man in charge. Curbishley would definitely steady the ship and with some money he might even go on big things. Whoever the next manager is i hope he realizes how important of a player N'Zogbia is. Elephant
Klinsmann is not "available", he's in America and going to stay there.. Well, California or Newcastle, tough call There are lots of talented, upcoming managers.. It's just that Freddy won't ever appoint someone like that, it will be Curbishley, Bryan Robson, Venables, Glenn Hoddle type of choice.

Shepherd managed to bring in a worse football manager than Souness when he got Roeder (although less of a twat, clearly), so the next logical step would be Robson.
