Guest firetotheworks
i probably just about had him as man of the match today. Not quite, but that individual performance from him today would have certainly got him a man of the match award in many of our other games. Okay so he's a bit of a speed merchant with limited ability, but he does offer us natural width which is very useful. Some of his touches and passes were especially excellent today. after a nervy first 10mins his movement was very good. the win and lay off for the pen were very good. didn't he set upi carrolls very good in the first half aswell. caused them bother all afternoon. still don't think it's enough for him to still be here come the summer but credit where its due. I think his most important attribute is that like Routledge he gives us natural width and allows Guthrie to play in a more central position. It's not about the individual but how he effects the shape of the whole team. Absolutely agree 100%
Guest Heneage
I think the whole 'poor technqiue' thing is harsh, this lad on occassion has shown he has some good close control.
Ronaldo
He's absolutely fast as fuck, like. Makes me laugh that someone on here said he lacked pace a couple of weeks back.

Shak
I always imagine Ronaldo is just like this in real life too. - "Was a cracking night out last Saturday, eh mate?" - "Certainly was. And to think, I was talking to a guy a few months back who said that club was shite at the weekends. And I told him he was wrong. And I've certainly been proved right in this instance, haven't I?" - "... yeah... suppose so, aye."

It's not about the individual but how he effects the shape of the whole team. Spot on. It's all about the shape of the team and having pace and natural width on each flank helps enormously, as well as freeing up Guthrie to be more creative in the middle. This is the formation we should play for all home games when personnel permits.

Ronaldo
York put a bit too much though into that one. Never mentioned myself at any point, just that it was funny someone said Pancrate lacked pace, everyone who's seen him play know's he fast as fuck. JH
He still missed what Moncur called 'the easiest chance of the match'.
Doug
Last time I saw him at WBA I thought he didnt even break sweat. Yesterday he played well and was really having a go getting at their full back, hustling and tackling back and putting several good crosses over with either foot when switching wings with Jonas which they did several times. Someone seems to have had a word with him regarding graft and workrate in the English game.
Fenham Mag
He still missed what Moncur called 'the easiest chance of the match'. Lovenkrands was going mental as he could have easily laid it off for a tap in for him for his hat-trick.

For all the criticism of his ability or lack of, he's had a very crucial part in getting us wins in his few appearances. The winning goal against Watford, the unexpected success when he was asked to play right back and obviously yesterday allowing us to stick with two wide players. It's been a decent loan signing when looked at in context of where we are right now.
Guest Heneage
Pancrate is deciptively fast I think. What was this 'easiest chance of the match'?
Ronaldo
About 10 minutes to go, Leazes end, poked it wide. Opposite end to me but looked a pretty simple chance.

Yorkie
Should have knocked it back for Lovenkrands. Well i'd have said that if it was 0-0, or something. If we're 6-0 up i wouldn't have a go at any of our players having a shot.
Guest BlacknWhiteArmy
He's done well from what I've seen recently- His impact sub appeareances and against Barnsley. If he can keep up this work rate and general performance, I'm more than happy to have him and Routledge for the right.
Rich
Very impressed with him on Saturday. Just good, basic wing-play for the majority of the match. Looks massively inconsistent and erratic but was a proper handful. Certainly not as shite as made out previously.
