They both lacked the drive and determination to adapt their games post injury. That for me is why a certain No9 we are all pretty enamoured with deserves every plaudit he continues to get.

Fowler suffered one serious knee injury and didn’t have the drive to get back to his peak and the midget weasel had very little to his game after the pace deserted him.

Wouldn't want to get stuck in a lift with him

If I was stuck in the elevator with Michael Owen, I would have to John McClane my way out of it. I wouldn’t have been able to stand his company for more than one second. I still find it really funny that he ended his “illustrious” career with Stoke City. [emoji38]

  • 4 weeks later...

Classic tasteful Daily Mail with their bullet point summary.

  • Owen's son James, 17, had to give up on his hopes of becoming a footballer
  • He was diagnosed with the incurable Stargardt disease at the age of eight
  • Kevin De Bruyne is brilliant, but he's not the best. Chris Sutton names his top five Premier League midfielders on It's All Kicking Off

Probably been mentioned on another thread, but didn't this clown say 2 or 3 times that Barnes scored last week against Bournemouth? I was pissed after the match but sure I heard right

Some classics in that. The Liverpool Xmas party where Carragher dressed as the Hunchback of Notre Dame sprays whipped cream all over a ripper and gets joined by someone else dressed as Ronald McDonald. Owen stood in the corner stunned like the little socially awkward gimp he is.

His sex text scandal. Tremendous btw. Your past, your present, your posts with your tits out. Also this banging Xmas party photo with standard Nazi officer.

@Nucasol one of my favourite Upshot videos.  Cool Running's is one of 8 movies he's watched in his entire life. Jurassic Park....TWICE......so it's actually 7.

The Carragher thing gets worse - fourball fucking with someone dressed as Ainsley Harriott?! 😂

It was the night the News of the World called "the most debauched Christmas party ever to shame soccer". In the basement of the Pen and Wig pub in Liverpool, the players of one of Europe's leading football clubs gathered to celebrate the simple joys of Christmas with some whipped cream, strippers and sex toys. Jamie Carragher, who had turned up as the Hunchback of Notre Dame, was keen to enjoy their performances at closer quarters, stripped off his costume and daubed his chest with whipped cream. The evening went downhill from there. Soon, Carragher and an unidentified man "dressed as Ainsley Harriot" were reported having sex with strippers and non-strippers alike, in full view of their fellow revellers. Michael Owen, only 19 at the time, stood at the back, and was said to be "stunned".
