Danny Simpson (now retired)

He was one our best players tonight.  He made a mistake 90 yards from our goal ffs, hardly nailed on they would score from it.

Absolutely criminal though when we've had our backs up against it for 45 mins. What is the RB doing in that position in injury time?

Don't care if he was one of our best players tonight, cost us the game IMO.

Crap throw in, missed challenge, stayed on the floor long enough for Arsenal to turn and start breaking. Surprise surprise, there's two men on the right waiting to tap in the winner.

Cleared the ball off the line twice again, but it's schoolboy errors costing us again.

That throw was abysmal, straight to the Arsenal player.

Had one of his better games funnily enough, but he's average at best defensively and one of the worst attacking full backs the world has ever known.

If he's first choice RB next year it'll be ridiculous.

10 more games left for him as a Newcastle player hopefully. Tbh would rather Santon right back and Fergie left back for the rest of the season when he comes back from injury.

Mistakes I can handle, being absolutely thick as mince I can't.

He was injured according to Pardew.

a) Unless he was injured in the arm, that's irrelevant.

b) If he was that injured, he shouldn't have been so far up the pitch that he couldn't do anything about a counter

c) He's shit.

Aye I can see why that would affect him hoying a throw in into nowhere as opposed to dropping it at Shola's feet.
