Wardy1963
He's barely a Conference player for me. Can't pass, can't head out properly, and not physical enough. Pardew needs to look at his stats about Willo's percentages.
midds
Pardew's got no choice but to stick with him. We've literally got no-one else better to play there.

Colos Short and Curlies
Lad I work with played with Willo as a teenager in Torquay. Reckons he was a very limited player back then, nobody can believe he made it past league 1 level, never mind be a Premier League player. He also said that as a teenager he was the quickest player in the league!
sugoinufc
he gave them the 2nd goal yesterday....really poor defending. i like him as 4th choice....if we ever will have a squad with that?

Aye, top speed or something. The fat bastard probably does reach terminal velocity when he gets going, unfortunately it takes him 3 days to get going. Dokko
We can still sign free transfers can't we? Surely rangers have a cb better than him we can take off them on a free.
Sifu
He was poor yesterday aye and his weaknesses have been exposed quite a bit this season but he is still our best option at CB (alongside Colo of course) atm. I like him so I'll continue put my trust in him to do a a decent job but he should have really done better against that Wolves team. He does have a decent reading of the game and he has been solid at times but he's unfortunately not on the same level as Saylor.

Guest Brazilianbob
Its a defensive fact that up until Steven Taylor got injured at the end of the Chelsea game on 3rd December, we had conceded only 15 goals in 14 EPL games. Since then we have conceded 23 goals in 12 EPL games. Williamson did not play in the Norwich game where we conceded 4, but we have conceded 19 goals in the 11 EPL games Williamson has played in this season, although in two of those games, Fulham and Spurs, we conceded 10 goals. This means we have conceded 9 goals in the other 9 EPL games in which Williamson has played. Not sure whether we can draw any conclusions from those stats because 9 in 9 isnt a bad defensive record, but its the 10 in 2 games that makes the defensive stats look far worse than they perhaps really are! Keefaz
Is he really that bad? Flick back ten pages and he was getting mad props. Again, I suspect it's a case where he's a decent player when the team's playing well, but his limitations are highlighted when we're playing poorly (collectively). He started off alright, but the last 5 games I think he's been an utter shambles of a CB.
Mole_Toonfan
It's not that he's bad, its that with him and Colo as the CB's its too easy to get in behind they dont compliment each other at all. I think he would do a decent job in a deep defensive line or with a fast CB next to him. Also he's good enough back up but currently he's first choice due to injuries and not having enough CB's so his flaws are highlighted more.

You cant just get rid of the two worst games to make the stats look better! Williamson was probably at fault for at least half of those 10 goals from memory so no, I wouldn't say those games make the stats look worse than they really are. Pilko
He's been poor in the last four or five games. I still think he's a competent enough squad defender, though. Shouldn't be looking to sell, not yet anyway.
Wallace
On Saturday most of his cleared headers went straight to a Wolves player. Hope he sorts that out for the derby as a couple of their midfielders are rather fond of a long distance shot.
AyeDubbleYoo
Wasn't too long ago that people were talking about Willicini as our best defensive partnership. Weird that he's done so poorly recently.
