ponsaelius
MsiDouglas Mark Douglas Routledge completes his switch to QPR but there is "nothing imminent" on the incomings for #nufc. Crazy if true.

AyeDubbleYoo
curious LukeEdwards0 Luke Edwards Can't say I'm sorry to see the back of Wayne Routledge For a player who has never done it in the PL had a very high opinion of himself #nufc What a dick. What have you done in the Premiership Luke? Eh? EH?
BottledDog
Done sod all for us this season and really hasn't shown anything to suggest he would anytime soon - so no great problem with giving someone else a chance to cover rw imho. Thank him and wish him luck for the future though.
Guest
No loss. Think it's clear we don't intend to play an out and out winger on the right so Barton with Gosling as back up and even Jonas on the right with Ferguson an option on the left is good enough for me. I know Ferguson's inexperienced, but in a season where we're probably going to be safe we might as well blood him when there's no pressure on him rather than persist with Routledge who's clearly not good enough. SUPERTOON
Strange time to let him go though, considering our ever mounting injury list.
Pilko
A word on LuaLua - is he still contracted to Brighton? I was hoping he might come back into our fold towards the end of this season.

Guest Stephen927
What is Ryder on about, high opinion of himself? Always looked like he thought he wasn't good enough for the Premiership most of the time he's played.

Ferguson looks too lightweight to be starting at this point, to me at any rate. I don't have any problem with Routledge leaving as I don't think he's a premier player but if he's going then we should be getting someone through the door if only on loan. The Quichà
Not surprised at all if he has finally gone. Not to sound like a typical ITK bullshitter but I do know some one who spoke to him not that long ago and he said he didn't think he would stay in Newcastle that long as he was missing London. Guest neesy111
QPR are making a statement of intent that they are desperate for promotion, they've signed Chimbonda as well.

Guest axel
I'm not a big fan of Routledge and i wouldn't mind loaning him out, but when our midfield has so many injuries this isn't a good decision.
Unbelievable
Surprised about the animosity. We knew what we were getting when we got him and he did what we expected from him. Maybe not quite good enough at this level, but that's hardly his fault and I think we may regret it greatly if Barton is out for any amount of time. Also, he gave us pace, something few of our other players do which can be very useful from the bench in certain situation. Surprised and not happy with this development. We'd better replace him. SEMTEX
I think he's shit, his level is championship, he was a fine signing to get us over the line, but his shitness in this division was somewhat written on the wall. I still think getting rid of him now is idiotic mind you. Our strength in depth is abysmal all over the shop.
Superior Acuña
I think regardless, Routledge was a very good signing and important in securing promotion with relative ease in the end. Concerned if we don't replace him, but otherwise wish him luck.
