Colocho
I know what Colocho thinks. But what I really want know is; what do United for Newcastle have to say on the matter? You really have a problem with me, don't you?

midds
So has this actually happened then? It's the type of thing that I'd expect the club to confirm/announce. Still think it's a typical arsehole journo jumping the gun or 2+2=5 stuff.
Dave
By the sounds of things this story about his contract came as a surprise to Colin as well.
Chrisjraby
Anyone watching Cardiff vs. QPR? It's nice to see Routledge doing all the stuff he should have been doing for us, yet never had the guts to!
RupertCommunicator
TBF, I'd like to see Routledge get another chance with us. We've been desperately short on the right all season as soon as Wor Joey has been needed in the middle, and I think if he could develop some end product, he could be a very dangerous player. Routledge was shit for us this season, his performance against Stevenage was an embarrassment. He doesn't appear able to make the step up to the Premiership and it isn't like we're the only club to have seen this in him, every Premiership club he's been at in the past has got rid of him only to see him excel in the Championship at which point he gets another chance in the Premiership & blows it. Plus, Barton has not been needed in the middle for us this season & when he has been played there he's looked a shadow of the player that he is when playing out wide. Ketsbaia
http://www.sundaysun.co.uk/sport/newcastle-united/nufc-news/2011/04/24/united-will-demand-a-fee-for-wayne-79310-28572782/ United will demand a fee for Wayne WAYNE Routledge is heading out of St James’ Park this summer – but not on a free. The winger was hoping to resurrect his Newcastle career after a stunning loan spell at QPR. But Alan Pardew has deemed him surplus to requirements and he will be leaving for the Championship leaders in the close season. Newcastle WILL be asking for a fee, though, despite reports in London that they have terminated the player’s contract to allow him to depart on a free. United are furious at those claims and insiders say there is no way they will let a star with two years left on his deal leave for nothing. A fee of around £1million is expected to be agreed as soon as QPR clinch their promotion – allowing Toon to recruit a couple of wide men from the Continent. United have watched Rangers highly-regarded playmaker Adel Taarabt but their interest in him will not be dictated by what happens to Routledge. LoveItIfWeBeatU
The least amount of transfer fee NUFC should "demand" off QPR for Routledge is whatever they charged us to buy him off them in the first place.

LoveItIfWeBeatU
http://www.nufc.com/ Wayne Routledge (QPR) With confirmation that the FA had fined Rangers rather than deducting points coming before kickoff on Saturday, the Championship winners promptly lost 1-2 at home to Leeds United. It's now expected that the diminutive winger will seal a permanent return to West London, but it remains to be seen whether he'll come into consideration for United's final two Premier League fixtures. QPR's season is over so Routledge's loan is over (unless QPR are definitely buying him).
