Super Duper Branko Strupar
It would be good for them to have some kind of thing going on in the stadium, maybe parade the trophy round the pitch, have a couple of people saying a few things, maybe some promotion memorabilia on the seats (cheap tat obviously) - but not an oen top bus ride. madras
you know the NOpen top bus is a possibility. a load of NO users board the city tour bus (and i mean cram it out) and have their very own open top bus parade.
Doug
I have heard Chris Waddle favours the NOpel top bus option
eddco
I hope they do not even consider this. We've achived nothing, we've just regained our prem status (which we should never of lost in the first). Call that arrogant or stuck up, but we should be pleased with what has been achieve, a suitbale party type celebration, and hopefully trophy presentation to take place on the pitch for the Ipswich game, then move on. No civic receptions, no open top bus tours please.
J7
Definatly no to an open top bus tour. No need. But we should have an end of season DVD. There's some games I've been to where I've never seen the goals again. There should be an end of season DVD every season, no matter how we've done. Guest Phil K
Ridiculous. We'd be rightly laughed at. Give them deserved thanks for what they've done in another way. Keegan doing it last time didn't do an open topped bus.
Guest johnson293
Radio Newcastle were canvasing for an open top bus parade this morning. Just hope the club don't relent.

AyeDubbleYoo
I would say no, we should be recognising this for what it is, a solid step forward in the continuum of progress we require. Although if Hughton can keep the players' feet on the ground while we have a minor celebration, I suppose it would OK.
Jill
I'm sticking with a no, but if they did it I'd probably lap it up.
JH
Look at the celebrations on the pitch last night, we absolutely have to do it now. Fuck everyone laughing at us, let's enjoy this

JH
Why not though? fill up the city center and enjoy a good time together as fans and the city of Newcastle get a profit from it as well. why not celebrate and create a positive vibe towards the next season, just what this city needs imo If we go into next season with a bit of positive vibe and the fans actually happy with the team for once, we might actually stand a chance. It'll do more good then going into next season and getting on the player's backs when they don't perform.
