toontownman
Did you change that? I heard Calderwood did it under orders from Hughton. He is tinkering with Annan and Hunterlaars pages as we speak.

Yeah, will give us a good squad on paper when they print out the Wiki updates.

Cajun
Would rather go with the chance of unearthing another Bassong in this way than signing Campbell. Obviously that would be great but if we are being honest it isn't going to happen is it?

Obviously that would be great but if we are being honest it isn't going to happen is it? Why not? More chance of us signing somebody like that fella we've just been linked with (granted, probably bollocks) and him going on to be a success then signing Campbell and him being nothing more than a squad player for a year and then dissapear into the sun leaving us looking for another CB. Atleast taking a gamble on somebody will give us likely competition and a more long term future.

How often do teams pick up £500,000 22/23 year old foreigners who instantly settle into the premiership and perform well enough for their value to go up x10? With Campbell at least we know he is good enough for the league, plus and this is the main thing about any potential transfer, he is free.
