TRon
The Journal understands several of their top targets have already turned United down, forcing the Magpies to look further down their wanted list even before the transfer window opens. Why is that funny? Worrying, if true. On the plus side at least it seems like we are going for players who think they're too good for us.
Skirge
Players turned us down eh ? does that mean we already had fee's agreed them ?.. it also means we could be guilty of tapping up, offering contracts already are we. Fkn hell its like Anal is back.. shocking article.. the written bot has nothing to do with the quotes.

Plays on the right of a 3 cutting in for Porto so no idea how he'd do upfront for us if we play the same system we do now.

Guest BlacknWhiteArmy
I'd love to get N'Zogbia just for the Mackem reaction. They seem to think he's a definite purchase every summer!
tomlkier
NOTW reckons we are beating Sunderland to the signing of N'Zogbia. Alan Oliver in the People reckon Man Utd want Enrique. Seen a couple of reports valuing N'Zogbia at £6m. He'd be a decent buy at that price, but surely he won't go that cheap?
TRon
It would make my day if we got N'Zogbia and and Enrique stayed. Dalglish and Sunderland....two thieving vultures denied.
ATB
Normally i wouldn´t be up for it. But Zoggy back? Yeah, I would like that. BUT Jonas has to stay. We need depth not one in, one out.
Flip
Of course Jonas has to stay, with Zoggy we'll have 6 players who can produce at this level in midfield. Possibly Guthrie too, would need a need DM, like Reo-Coker for cover, as he seems like a cheap cover and who isn't as shit as Smith.
Barnes23
N'zogbia article : http://www.newsoftheworld.co.uk/notw/nol_sport/1297767/Newcastle-fight-Sunderland-for-Wigans-Charles-NZogbia.html NEWCASTLE have stolen a march on rivals Sunderland in the race to land Charles N'Zogbia. United bosses are putting together a £6million deal for the 24-year-old French winger, who only left St James' Park two years ago. And they believe they are now in pole position to land N'Zogbia, who will quit Wigan this summer. The player has been the prime target for Stadium of Light chief Steve Bruce since January. Aston Villa could join the chase for N'Zogbia if Ashley Young's expected move to either Liverpool or Manchester United goes through. But Newcastle have declared an interest and the player is prepared to move back to the North East. Toon owner Mike Ashley offered £12m for N'Zogbia at the end of the transfer window in January. And Newcastle have not let their interest fade, especially with the player's value dropping so quickly. N'Zogbia was sold for only £6m in 2009 but had problems with both former boss Joe Kinnear and Carroll. Newcastle boss Alan Pardew will have in excess of £15m to spend this summer, with Middlesbrough left-back Joe Bennett and Bordeaux striker Cheikh Diabate among his possible targets. Flip
£15 million, for every day that transfer amount decrease. Wonder what the real budget will be. £6 million for Zoggy sounds too good to be true. £14 million for him and Rodallega?
