steve_69
We don't need a f***ing keeper, especially not a black one. [Xenophobe, racist etc] If we can afford to do so and it will not hurt our spending in other areas I wouldn't be against us brining in a new experienced keeper on the (very) cheap and sending both Krul and Forster out on loan. I'd be a big fan of this happening. Not exactly going to do wonders for the moral of either Krul or Forster though is it. I expect Krul would want to leave if it happened. Why? He'll know he's number 2 to Harper next season, he should know he needs regular football, he knows Harper is coming to the end of his career. If we sign yet another goalkeeper, how can Krul be sure he's going to be number 2 to Harper? And, if we are going after this other fella is he likely to join the club knowing he's going to be 3rd choice? Just seems like a pointless move all round, unless we're planning to sell either Harper or Krul to raise some transfer funds

jdckelly
Pretty sure Hughton denied the Lansbury link yesterday. so he did Wilshere’s team-mate at the Emirates, Henri Lansbury, is also a player who will be made available for loan this season after spending time at Watford last term in the Championship. Reflecting on the possibility, Hughton said today: “He’s a player who did very well at Watford, and he’s a player we’re very aware of. But at this moment we’re not pursuing him.” http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/newcastle-united/nufc-news/2010/06/29/chris-hughton-looking-beyond-loan-signings-72703-26747501/? Thespence
Looking like a possible home for players who were loaned out @ Preston, Bolton (x2) & Watford (x2). SAF, Weg & Roberto may see us as step up in the development of there players. Still this may be a step up from Bolton squad players.

KaKa
We were said to be watching and showing a lot of interest in Erding way back when Hughton was making all those trips to France, so could be a possibility. I'm hoping we will all be pleasantly surprised regarding new players this upcoming season.
