Willow
Depending on how many we get in, we may even be able to do a little squad rotation from time to time, just like the big boys
quayside
A bit random as all the talk is about attacking players - but surely we are going to sign a a central defender to replace Sol Campbell. I can't remember seeing a single link so far.

Onuoha or Richards might be peddled from Shitty. Although Onuoha was pretty average for the mackems.
Baggio
We were linked with some French under 21 centre back playing in Belgium I think. Could have imagined that though.
ponsaelius
We were linked with some French under 21 lad playing in Belgium I think. Could have imagined that though. Correct, aye, that lad from Liege. Edit: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eliaquim_Mangala Might be good on the cheap. 20 year old France U-21 international.
Disco
If Upson wasn't going to command mental wages I'd have been happy for him to be fourth choice. Be interesting to see where he goes. Wonder if anyone will take a punt on him. Get his confidence back and he could do a job at Bolton or somewhere then again he could quite easily continue being utter dross. Although playing alongside Tomkins/Da Costa is hardly going to help, both fucking terrible.

Guest
Think he's been linked with Wolves. Given Mancienne's not there this season and Craddock is past it, could see him go there.
Pilko
Boyata on loan would be a clever move imo.
Disco
Boyata on loan would be a clever move imo. Makes no sense for anyone though. He can sit on the bench/play the odd cup game at City, they might as well just keep him. Same with the whole v. Aanholt craic. No point loaning players IMO unless they're getting the minutes on the pitch.
Guest Recoba
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2003610/Newcastle-close-Tranquillo-Barnetta-Alan-Pardew-set-pip-Sunderland-Craig-Gardner.html More Barnetta and Gardner nonsense. Also we shouldn't bother with loans, leave that to the mackems. Why waste valuable minutes on another teams players? Maybes if it was Berbatov or Menez though ... Dave
Newcastle manager Alan Pardew says he will match Sunderland’s £5m bid for Birmingham midfielder Craig Gardner. Oh does he? What a stupid way of making a completely unsubstantiated claim. At least put 'has told friends' or some bollocks.
Pilko
If it really is £6m for Barnetta I'd hope we're in there like a flash. I'd be absolutely delighted if we recruited him and N'Zogbia.
Wullie
What type of player is Barnetta? Seems a very bold claim from the DM, who are actually quite good with their transfer nonsense in fairness.

He often play wide winger (left), but sometimes DM, if need.

Winger that can play on either sides. Pretty quick, can strike a ball from distance, can take set pieces. He's not turned into the player many thought he was going to though. ponsaelius
Ba/Erdinc Barnetta Ben Arfa N'Zog Cabaye Tioté Would be nice. Both Zog and Barnetta could interchange throughout a match.
