for 8-10 mill i would like to see bendtner here...being a dane must be the main reason....but i think he would be good for us. i believe he could do the job scoring 10-20 goals pr. season.

he knows he has talked too much so far....he must know its time to let the boosts do the talking. he has to go to a team where he can get first team football in order to develop...problem is he wants CL football.

i truly believe he could be great.

I think he has the potential to be a very good player for us, his problem is he needs to be playing on a regular basis and if he did that here I'd feel comfortable about him pushing the 12-15 league goals a season mark.

Former Newcastle striker Micky Quinn has told talkSPORT that Arsenal have enquired about the availability of midfielder Joey Barton.

The often controversial Toon star had a good season at St James’ Park weighing in with nine assists as they finished 12th after promotion from the Championship.

And Quinn told the All Sports Show: “I know through a third party that Arsenal have enquired about Joey Barton.

“What I’m gutted about as an ex-Newcastle player is that the spine of the team, the personality of the team is going to be gone.

“Why are they letting players like Joey Barton go if they have any ambition, but it’s only going to Arsenal’s gain.

“He’ll put a bit of steel into that Arsenal team, he goes forward, he was made captain, he’s grown up and he said himself that he’s making up for lost time for stupidity and injury, he wants to get to the top.

“I think Joey has settled down a lot now, we know he’s a bit of a hot-head, we know he’s paid on and off the pitch for his stupidity but he’s settled down.”

And Quinn also made his feeling about Newcastle’s current transfer policy which has seen the club bring in three players from France for small transfer fees and in the case of Sylvain Marveaux a free transfer.

The former Newcastle star fumed: “I’m past judging Mike Ashley and his decisions, they make no rhyme or reason. Joey Barton has got one year left on his contract and I thought with the likes of Kevin Nolan they could actually take Newcastle into the top eight of the Premier League and add to the likes of Cheikh Tiote instead of selling their best players all the time.

“What they’re trying to do is bring in cheap foreign players a bit like Tiote, they’ve had one player that they bought for £3million and they’re trying to go down the same route.

“What doesn’t make sense to me is the players that they’re bringing in from all over Europe don’t know Newcastle, they don’t know how the city works, it is cold up there.

“If they get a lot of foreign players in they need to hit the ground running next season because we know the Premier League is unforgiving and there’s only one way they ‘re going to go, down.”

Bendtner's nowt special, and certainly nowhere near as good as he thinks he is. I can't see him combining well with Ba either. If we're going to spend, I'd rather spend more and get someone a bit better.

Bendtner plays for a team that makes as many chances as any in the league but he doesn't finish well enough for me. Good player but not ruthless enough in front of goal.

He would do okay here I reckon but yeah wouldn't want us to sign him like (especially if he's rated at £8 million).

It's too cold for foreigners in Newcastle but it was  fine to have a bunch of Spaniards in sunny Liverpool when Rafa was there. Scouse twat.

I never get this, "it's cold up there" thing when it comes to signing players from Europe.

I lived in St-Etienne for 5 months, and for 2 months of it, it didn't stop snowing. Players from the French league have played in as bad if not worse!

I just can't believe the Barton for Arsenal story. If they want him, they'll get him because there'll be no problem with the fee or getting the player to sign.

Midfield isn't Arsenal's problem. They've got Fabregas, Song, Wilshere, Ramsey, Nasri, Diaby, Walcott, Rosicky - exactly how is Barton going to break through all that lot?

His problem for me is that he's a squad player so he's never given a chance to build up a good run of games to get his confidence in front of goal up, he only started 3 league games for Arsenal last season so he's going to suffer because of that.

Daniel Sturridge is a good example of how regular starts can improve a players confidence as he made plenty of substitute appearances for Chelsea last season but looked average when he came on, yet regular football in a team that creates a lot less than Chelsea really helped him build form and I think it would be the same for Bendtner.

Not sure what you're laughing at. N'Zogbia has never proved himself to be a disruptive influence within a stable dressing room.

That's not what I said.  Read it again, slowly.

That's exactly what you said. If you're going to make stupid points, do try to remember them before projecting your ignorance onto other people. There's nothing to substantiate that rubbish.

R e a d  i t  a g a i n .  S l o w l y . .

Edit: I see Domokunwins has already pointed out where you've gone wrong. You should do yourself a favour and not get on your high horse with people all the time if you can't even read or properly understand what they are saying.  :crazy2:

I understand perfectly. I'm entitled to disagree, as i'm entitled to consider you an arse-licking, tedious little ponce. For the record, N'Zogbia always seemed to have a good attitude until idiot managers starting messing him around. He basically got Roeder his job, and how was he repaid? Keegan played him LB, and Kinnear.......enough said.

At Wigan his attitude seems to be spot on. So, again, there's really nothing whatsoever to substatiate the original post.
