Stifler
Daily Mail saying he is signing for west ham in the next 2 days 2 unreliable news sources, I'm putting my bet on that he signs for Everton.

Ketsbaia
The Sun says: DAN GOSLING has quit Everton - and Newcastle are set to cash in. Gosling snubbed a two-year contract extension and a pay rise to almost £15,000 a week at Goodison. The midfielder arrived on a three-year deal from Plymouth in 2008. Gosling, who still faces another four months on the sidelines with injured knee ligaments, also wanted assurances of more regular action. Toon could nab Gosling, 20, for £1.5million at a tribunal. West Ham and Sunderland are also keen. Read more: http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/3045376/Dan-Gosling-flees-Everton-nest.html#ixzz0t2qJk8TA Eh? And also they say FM legend Jonathan de Guzman: NEWCASTLE are weighing up a move for Jonathan de Guzman. The midfielder, 22, capped four times by Holland, has been released by Feyenoord. He has deals on the table from Espanyol and Villarreal but would prefer a move to England. Neil
Not sure what to think about Gosling, i.e. whether he's being a money-grabbing cunt (influenced by his agent) and turning his back rather swiftly on the club who has given him his break, or, good luck to the lad if it's on footballing grounds because he sure as hell won't get much of a chance here next season. Presuming our players stay relatively fit this time. Ridiculous stuff from the club either way. Edit: Mind, he agreed a contract with us, even if it was verbally. Him staying is still a possibility. LooneyToonArmy
Jonathan De Guzman has apparently been linked to us. Fits the bill, 22 year olds, attacking midfielder, out of contract.......was linked with the likes of Arsenal last season so i'm sure there'll be a few clubs in for him. Not necessarily, as he had quite a couple of long term injuries last year and so he pretty much dissapeared off the radar. Is fully fit now though, and it could be a chance for us to grab him. Hope it's true.

STM
Hughton mentioned something about "players coming available" the other day and Gosling certainly fits the bill. Mistle17
From the Chron: NUFC battle with Sunderland for Dan Gosling Jul 8 2010 by Lee Ryder, Evening Chronicle Add a comment Recommend Dan Gosling NEWCASTLE United are understood to be facing a Tyne-Wear tussle with Sunderland to land Dan Gosling. Toon boss Chris Hughton woke up to national headlines this morning linking him with the 20-year-old, with Gosling reportedly on Tyneside yesterday for talks with the Magpies. United were keeping their cards close to their chest again, with Hughton only prepared to say: “Of course he’s a player that will be mentioned.” But sources on Merseyside have also indicated to the Chronicle that Everton have been left crestfallen that the midfielder-cum-defender has walked out on the Goodison Park side after contract talks broke down, with Newcastle predominantly mentioned as his next port of call. And after Gosling exposed a loophole in his contract, a Premier League hearing ruled that he was available on a free transfer after the Toffees failed to offer him a fresh deal before an imposed mid-May cut-off point. Gosling has now told Everton he wants to leave, even though there was believed to be a gentleman’s agreement between the Devon-born star and David Moyes that he would extend his stay at Goodison. Gosling arrived on Merseyside on a three-year deal and, although Everton wanted him to sign a five-year contract, Premier League rules don’t permit clubs to sign such long contracts for players under the age of 20. And this has resulted in Gosling becoming available to Newcastle and a host of other sides. For not only are Sunderland in the running along with Newcastle, but West Ham are also keen on Gosling, who has family in East London. Ironically, Gosling sprang to prominence last year when he netted a Premier League goal against Sunderland on his home debut for Everton. But he is perhaps best thought of on Merseyside for scoring a last-gasp winner against Liverpool in the FA Cup in the 2008/09, which made him a hero on the blue side of Liverpool – while he also found the net in Everton’s 3-1 win over Manchester United last season. Due to the Premier League’s ruling on Gosling, his first club Plymouth Argyle will not be entitled to the sell-on clause fee written into his original deal with Everton, as he is now a free agent. However, because the player is under 23, both Everton and Plymouth would be entitled to “solidarity contributions” as he was registered with both clubs from such an early age.
