4hrs to go and we're as close as we were at the start of the window.

We had all but agreed deals on two players when it opened tbh

Gignac to NUFC, Gyan on loan to Marseille.

Might all happen if Bendtner gets a loan move to the mackems, meaning Gyan to Marseille and Gignac to us....

A series of events nobody will actually be happy with

From Wiki...

Gignac endured a rough patch for the majority of the fall season, which led to criticism from local media, club supporters, and former club players, most notably Jean-Pierre Papin who stated Gignac's game had "become too predictable".[54][55] Gignac admitted that the criticism was justified and stated that "you will see the real Gignac in 2011".[56] Following the winter break, Gignac attempted to live up to his declaration by scoring in the team's first league match in a 2–1 win over Bordeaux.[57] Three days later, he scored the second goal in a 2–0 victory over Auxerre in the Coupe de la Ligue.[58] The win sent Marseille to the competition's final match. On 5 February, he scored a goal in a win over Arles-Avignon and, in the following week, scored both goals in a 2–1 victory over Sochaux.[59][60]

I guess somewhat promising if he's motivated now.
