Loved the bit when their keeper try to clatter Shola on the edge of the box. Shola never flinched and the keeper looked like he was taking a boxing count before he managed to stagger up again.

Match started at 3:45AM on a work day for me.

I sat through 90 minutes of relatively unexciting football just so I could watch the celebrations.

....Then I fell asleep during injury time.

Argh.

Some of those stewards seemed right c***s like. Little hitlers.

Was just gonna post the same after watching that vid - considering the amount of fans on pitch already (mid-end of vid), some of those stewards seemed a bit heavy handed... still rugby tackling and taking down a number of fans.  ???

Fair play, and respect to Plymouth Argyle in general for the banner pre-match, and the tannoys tunes at the end, consdiering their own predicament/outcome.

Bloke just after 2.40 who trips and tries to turn the fall into a Klingsman dive.

Was there a naked person before that? Looked like a streaker came out slightly before that.

lol this video at 1.08. Watch just in front of the goal mouth, you can see the old boy get on, check his run, and then carry on!

I like how it got to the point where the stewards just went "Aww fuck it" and hundreds ran on at once

Had great fun invading the pitch last night, best match atmosphere I can remember in a long time and the celebrations afterwards were pretty special.

When the stewards started lining up about 10 minutes before full time, we were all pointing at the pitch singing "We're going on there, we're going on there... You won't fucking stop us, we're going on there!" They called for backup and pretty much trebled the strength of the line of stewards but it was no use! :D

There was some good banter with some of the stewards just before full time, we knew what was coming and so did they, they knew the eventual outcome but they had a duty to at least try and stop us, but ultimately they knew our intentions were just to celebrate so I don't think there were any hard feelings from most of them.

the reason probably for Nolan vomiting during the match. I think Hughton probably should have given him a rest and the same with Harper if they didn't fell well tbh. Playing Krul there wouldn't have been too bad.

Toon Boys Beat Bug To Party

By Craig Hope

A NUMBER of Newcastle United stars shook off a pre-match bout of sickness to play their part during Monday night's title-clinching party at Plymouth.

Kevin Nolan, who twice vomited during the game, was forced to withdraw midway through the second half while Fitz Hall and Steve Harper were also suffering from a slight bug.

And veteran stopper Harps revealed: "I had a couple of tablets before the game in the dressing room because I didn't feel too good. Nobby was being sick on the pitch and Fitz Hall was talking to the big white telephone at half-time as well.

"There were a couple of them being sick, but it shows the spirit and character of the lads that, even though they were throwing up, they wanted to go out there and do it for their team-mates.

"It would have been easy for them to cry off, but they stayed out there and got the job done."

And Nolan himself added: "I have felt a little bit ropey during the last couple of days but I tried to do a job and hopefully I did that for Chris and the lads."

btw here's the inteview of Nolan and Routledge after the match for those who haven't seen it yet. Quite funny it is

Mammoth trek back yesterday to the Toon and now the train back to Edinburgh. Every hour sat on a train or on a motorway through the season was worth it for Monday night.

Hopefully those that were there can start posting some more photos and videos to be saved and relived over the years.

Having watched the Sky coverage last night believe me it didn't do the noise justice. Don't know where the effects mike was but the entire match was non-stop singing.

Drinking in the sunshine by the marina, getting randomly asked "wot are you doing" by some lass pre-match, the fella with the Colo hair/afro, the fat twat with the Rangers top who was just 'owned', getting loads of simultaneous texts saying i'd just been on the TV, the Greggs hats, starting the "we're going on there" song, singing it louder when they got reinforcements, seeing my brother on the pitch, getting myself on the pitch, meeting the lads who we've been through it all with, the very gratious Plymouth fans, finding my brothers had got various bits of kit including the big coat we now know Nolan was wearing when he was sick, Jagerbombs, taking over the dancefloor to do the Colo song followed by our 'Hey Jude' version, singing all the 'massive club' verses to a very bemused take-away owner, shouting 'Toon Toon' out of a hotel window at 2am only for 'Black and White' army to be sung back and these are just some of my favourite things.

It might 'only' have been the Championship Championship but nights and trips like that are what its all about. And to cap it all off I just laughed out loud when the mobile of fella behind me went off with the Smoggie pigbag tune.

Enjoy these days when they come and remember them when times are tough.

Newcastle United will never be defeated.

Pitch invasion while I was still too scared to go on. A few were dragged off and the police were filming their faces - I didn't want a 3 year ban.

I decided to go on when the stewards had all but given up. A barrier was kicked open and the floodgates opened.

Rubbish picture of Joey Barton's head. He wouldn't keep still, bastard. Gave him a scrub on the head and a pat on the pack.http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v476/grantJUK/Photo032.jpg

Picture before I left. Note the stewards now taking pictures for people in the background, after initial efforts to prevent invasion
