Cronky Posted April 19, 2010 Share Posted April 19, 2010 I thought Williamson was class, particularly in the second half. He's not the quickest but he has the skill and confidence to clear the ball without having to take an initial touch, and that can make a difference. Barton looked a bit fitter and is starting to show his ability. I'd like to have seen him given a chance in the centre later on. Still not sure what Hughton saw in Leon Best. Routledge 8 - Class goal, caused them problems all day Smith 6 - Good range of passing, solid throughout. Guthrie 6 - As usual he gave us plenty of drive going forward. Barton 7 - Awesome pass for our second. Nolan 6 - For once, he worked tirelessly Carroll 6 - Clinical yet again. Best 6 - Never gonna score He deserved to tonight.
