BlueStar
Papers have picked it up as well. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2078003/Stan-Collymore-Twitter-fan-asks-When-going-hang-like-Gary-Speed-negrito.html I would imagine that questions would have been asked in Parliament had they not been on their Xmas holidays. Hopefully it gets picked up properly in the new year. Worst rated comment with 36 net downvotes this type of view and comment is hopefully still restricted to a very small minority in our population. I am afraid it reflects a failure in our education system and also reflects the increasingly poor moral standards in the UK and increasingly reduced role of the family to provide appropriate "role models" . I despair re such comments and the ignorannce and bigotry which they portray. - dave lindsey, scotlland, 23/12/2011 14:25 Highest rated comment with 350 net upvotes The more the anti-racist groups and PC advocates go on about racism the more they actually perpetuate and intensify the trait. BlueStar
So presumably seeing as racism is less common in football and society in general now, there must also be less anti-racist groups and less PC advocates going on about racism. Because otherwise it would have increased, naturally.

It really is tedious at times, and people react accordingly.

Just that witch hunts will provoke and people will react. Both people who actually are racist, but also people who just thinks it's going way over board. BlueStar
Don't really agree that kind of stuff is just to be expected. I blame the fuckwits posting it rather than thinking it's something like the Kick It Out campaign that made them do it.

I blame the fuckwits posting it rather than thinking it's something like the Kick It Out campaign that made them do it. I'm not sure the discussion was about blame as such. The racists are always to blame, but the ongoing witch hunt has sparked them, and also people who are tired of being analyzed by every single wording. gbandit
Sick of the whole thing. This and the Terry case, they've managed to offload the debate from Suarez and Terry to subsidiary issues. Pathetic from AVB and Dalglish, they should be taking a strong stance and seeing beyond the sport into wider issues. Instead, they're like a couple of kids who are having their favourite toy taken away. No one wants a magnifying glass under every word spoken but people do want racism out of football and out of the UK, AVB and Dalglish have just made the whole debate an absolute mess. Lost all respect I had for AVB and I've always hated the other cunt

Their really goin' about it in the right way with this message aren't they? And the fellas still denying saying it....absolute shambles should of been banned for at least 10 games and had a fine The way they've turned on Collymore like, fucking hell.
