nfrederi
I seem to remember him having a massive chip on his shoulder with the press in his full season with us, when we finished 13th. We went from being everyones second team to being depised, I put it down to Dogliesh and his way with the media and people. Always been an embarrassment calling press conferences in a pub off London Road while at Celtic
Guest ObiChrisKenobi
Medical guy has left too. He also had 'family issues'. https://twitter.com/#!/BenSmithBBC/status/190454429969956864 Peter Brukner, head of sports medicine/ science, leaves #LFC. He will almost certainly not be the last to go today.

Zero
My guess would be Comolli foresee that the price for British prospects would only go further up once the local player rule comes to effect for Europe matches, and thus he decide to take a heavy gamble on those young prospects now, hoping that some of team could reach Gerrard's class and become priceless asset. Backfired because this generation of youngsters are just too shit. Fergie snapped up the best one (Phil Jones) and the others are just nothing but hype. Backfired because this generation of youngsters are just too s***. Fergie snapped up the best one (Phil Jones) and the others are just nothing but hype. Phil Jones would struggle in this L'pool side. Even Chamberlain wouldn't have been so great in this side, too much pressure.
LesPaul
Phil Jones would struggle at every PL club tbh
Sifu
I like how others have taken the fall for Dalglish's incompetence. Nice mentality that, "it can't be the King's fault, it just can't!" 9 times out of 10, the problem simply rests with the manager!

Guest
Not sure about Mata, but pretty sure they only signed Downing the week after we stole Marveaux from under their noses.

Guest
Given that Marveaux set up Cabaye against Wigan, he's still brought more to the Premier League than Downing this season.

Looked great at the time because it was so far beyond what we were accustomed to seeing from Obertan.

Looked great at the time because it was so far beyond what we were accustomed to seeing from Obertan. Sometimes the easiest pass is the hardest pass, its so easy to try something outrageous like a spin or a dribble or a cross field pass..... Sometimes a simple 2-5 yard pass is the hardest thing to do.

Disco
Really strange timing before an FA Cup semi-final. Could it just be that all the Fenway etc mob are all in the country for the SF and focusing on the job at hand for a change rather than owning by proxy? Oh I forgot it's not the Liverpool way. C'est Terrible.
