What the feck? So he's basically requesting LFC donate a few 100k to a charity to endear him to their fans? How about they keep the money as per the fine and you donate it yourself you c***?

Very valid point.

They should say no and make him donate his own money, the scabby b******.

edit: as you said

A rich football player asking to donate the money he's been fined. Pisses me off the more I think about it. Hoy up some of your own money, you absolute t***.

Edit: Bit late to the party, but yeah.

New PR guy. At least he hasn't got a disastrous approach as the previous one. (Mr Suarez is not a racist, get the tees out; no posting insider info or you'll get it from Pool supporters)

Hahaha that's incredible.

A good gesture would have been to maybe match his fine to the club out of his own pocket to he families, not money he's lost anyway.

Liverpool MD just released a statement saying they've got no intention of selling Suarez, sounds like the fine is about the extent of what Liverpool are going to do.

I'm sure the Liverpool fans will EAT that right up.

Would be mad to announce a Carroll-esque 'we don't want you' message in any case, with his stock at a current high. Do think they have no intention of selling him anyway. He's central to Rodger's plans.

Unsurprisingly, the idiots at RAWK are lapping up that Suarez tweet about the club giving the proceeds of the fine to charity. Nobody has even questioned why he isn't putting his own money in rather than the club's.. :idiot2:

Watched the match down at the pub last night with quite a few Liverpool supporters. When the biting incident happened, and they were losing, they were all fuming shouting how he's a disgrace to the club and the fans, and that he deserved getting a lengthy ban and getting sold.

After the final whistle they were on their google searching for the Defoe-Mascherano story, and claiming Suarez should escape a ban because Defoe did.  :idiot2:

It's deja vu for me. The Ajax fans were exactly the same when he was their player. It's funny how the most easily offended are also the most apologetic when it comes to their own. Bunch of f***ing hypocrits.

That match yesterday summed up Liverpool nicely by the way: a minute silence in tribute of something completely insignificant to the wider world, one of their own players acting like an unbelievable c***, cheating their way to a last minute result (shouldn't have been on the pitch; after normal ET) and playing the victim card afterwards. You never wank alone indeed..

It will be down to the Liverpool owners whether he is sold or not.  Apparently, they are very aware of their image and were very unhappy with how the club dealt with the Suarez affair last season.  They will surely have learnt their lesson from the Carroll situation and not devalue the player by saying they want rid but they may well be tempted if a big offer comes in for him in the Summer.

Fair chance he was on the way out in the summer anyway.

Yep. Now, they get a chance to make it an ethical decision, for the good of the Liverpool way.

You've got to think that the rest of the season is a ban of convenient length? Seems like something the FA would go for...?

BTW: fifteen pages of shite food puns and no one mentioned our second favourite Uruguayan Nacho Gonzalez? WTF is wrong with you people?
