Jaqen
Refusing to shake hands because you don't like your opponent playing long balls is really petty like. Especially how he was acting like he was best mates with Pulis before the game.
Away Toon
He's used to playing in front of a magnificent set of fans at Dortmund and must be wondering why the majority of premier league games are played in some sort of mausoleum deathly silence for most of the game including at Anfield and St. James. No wonder he was out on the pitch trying to get some life into them.
Parky
This stuff about the support is a distraction isn't it..? He's beginning to realise this isn't going to be easy. Moaning about the support for 2/3 weeks then doing the in arms thing smacks of delusion and the kind of messianic complex prevalent in Germany. Today was the first real sign of a chink in his armour and wagging his finger at Pulis instead of shaking hands was unsporting, especially as they only gained a draw with a deflected goal in the 96th min. Only the other day they spent half the game going long to Benteke. Think the PL can be shock in the sense that results at elite clubs have to be almost instantaneous. We'll ideally see the panic buy of 2/3 Krauts at vastly inflated fees. The clock has started. I might have a chance.

John P
Not sure why people on here seem to have a problem with the players thanking the fans at the end of the game. Actually shows some respect and connection to the fans, something that pretty much every team in Germany, and virtually no team in England, has. Would people rather the players just fucked off down the tunnel with a face like a smacked arse?

Would people rather the players just fucked off down the tunnel with a face like a smacked arse? It's forced, try-hard bollocks. If the players genuinely want to thank the fans, let them do it. Would rather they weren't ordered to piss about holding hands after an embarrassing result against a Pulis side. Our lads coming across to the Newcastle fans yesterday was the other end of the scale. Genuine emotion for once.

German football is riddled with all this glad handing, back slapping, grinning nonsense. Almost like they are over compensating for lack of personalities. Just find it bizarre that people are criticising players for doing something that they're usually criticised for not doing.
Parky
I don't think the players really wanted to do it, especially after such a pitiful performance...It looked awkward. It's Anfield not the fukin circus.

Not like you to dismiss anyone not proudly accepting failure in silence as pathetic, embarrassing, dribbling messes like.
Parky
It's a bit foolhardy to come to Liverpool and start almost from day one to criticise the atmosphere, the support and then go into his faux circus act. This ISN'T GERMANY KLOPP!

Not sure failing to be impressed by clarting on like pillocks after a home draw is an indicator that I love accepting failure like If it was Allardyce forcing his players to do this he'd be rightly ridiculed. Honestly man, 2-2 against West Brom and you get that nonsense.

Honestly man, 2-2 against West Brom and you get that nonsense. Most things that any fan does out of the norm, or to rock the boat is deemed as a negative thing to you. Klopp's said that it wasn't about the result and that it was about thanking the fans, it's something the Dortmund players did to the fans that he's bringing to Liverpool. I can't stand Liverpool, but it's stretching to paint this as pathetic by changing it into something that it's not...and it's no surprise that the entire thing started on Twitter. Kanj
Klopp sent his team out to answer to the Wall when they had that poor fucking run and they listened to fans shout at them, apologized, and then promptly worked their asses off to move themselves back up the table his last season there if i recall correctly. Pretty ballsy, classy move there.
