Pardew is also likely to be without striker Andy Carroll for another two or three weeks while Dan Gosling has suffered a setback in his recovery from a serious knee injury.

From todays press conference

No it's not. It's from an article that was written after the press conference.

What do they mean by a setback? Is it a problem with the same knee?

.co.uk

"Dan Gosling also sat it out as he shaked off the last effects of his long-term knee injury. But those who did train were looking sharp ahead of Spurs."

Doesn't sound overly serious.

After i came back from a cruciate injury it was a case of the knee aching for a couple of days after a game fo footy.  id imagine it will be something along those lines.  This obviously gets better over time.

Nothing to worry about.

I also endorse Fratellis. Had a cracking meal there just before Christmas, and I'm not often quick to praise Italian restaurants as there's a load of very average ones.

Fratellis is lovely. Seen a few players in there.

it's ok, used to see loads of players in the new rendevous at darras hall.

Which is now moving to where the Smithy Bistro was, next door to The Diamond.
