WarrenBartonCentrePartin
£501m both sides cost, most expensive match in the history of football. That's ridiculous. Never has so much money been wasted in Sport. I'm sure more than that has been spent in the entire existence of Wigan Athletic, so not quite.
Village Idiot
Two most expensive sides in the world? Or is Madrid's first XI worth more?

Dave
The stupid/depressing thing is that it's unlikely either of these teams will win the league. So they'll probably be spending in the summer...
Ishmael
I expect this Manchester City team will put in a strong challenge for the title next season with or without further additions. Especially if Dzeko sorts himself out.

Guest BooBoo
Nah, Mancini is capable of winning the league. This is definitely a bedding-in season for the team. To win the league, you need to be able to beat the other top sides, not just beat the shite. Mancini is poor at the former and I expect he'll be sacked early next season. Village Idiot
Nah, Mancini is capable of winning the league. This is definitely a bedding-in season for the team. He is not ambitious enough. By all standards the other top teams have been poor and they still haven't got a sniff.
