An excuse was then given about some random relative in Tunisia being unwell!

I think I am right in saying we heard nothing more about this relative!

Probably because it's none of our f***ing business.

You not see the article on Granda Ben Arfa's recovery?

Innocent til proven guilty of course, but I remain a tad suspicious!

We know from his former club he is a bit precious!

He was meant to play in the reserves but didn't show!

Although in desperate need of match fitness, is still not playing in the reserves.

Still commenting on it three weeks later in the local rag!

Is it so implausible mlud?

Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree.

Excuse me, you talk about history when Ben Arfa has not returned to Tunisia for training

for people who think they know the reality without trying

Ben Arfa has had a problem with the airline and could not fly scheduled. Moreover, the company had sent a message to apologize.

Ben Arfa has warned Didier Deschamps his problem with the aircraft, but Didier Deschamps said he did know was that Ben Arfa. this was very upset because the coach Ben Arfa had lied.

He came to England to stop being bored with the stupid stories, and have play time, finally we see it again

damage

The journal story today about Pardew

.......Even Pardew’s formula is not foolproof. Newcastle dismissed the news Hatem Ben Arfa recently refused to play for the reserves as a breakdown in communication, but it might not be the last we hear of such problems. Highly-strung and highly-paid footballers do not take kindly to playing for the “stiffs” at faraway locations.

Christmas Tree - has Ben Arfa become your new figure to try and find faults in? Or is it still Jonas?

Hates them both. 2 of our most talented players. Madness.

Really? Where did I say this then?

Like a lot, I havent been a fan of Jonas over the years due to his shocking end product. Big deal.

Re Ben Arfa, quite a few share the opinion that his performances so far since his return have been well below par. In two matches running he has given the ball away leading to  attacks on our goal.

I support Newcastle, not players and therefore if he comes good I will be delighted.

However I would hope must fans agree that if a player does refuse to play on the reserves then they should quickly be shown the exit, regardless of who they are.

All of the HBA fanboys denying that the media has picked up on the fact that he is hard to deal with can refer to these.

Here's the Journal article and the mention is halfway down the page:

Here are links where other "news outlets" picked up on it:

Just saying...

Reminds me of a certain Welsh Wizard that was either the darling of the supporters or a mad c*nt depending on the day.

That's fair enough as a lot of people used to share your opinion, but how can you say he's been nothing other than exceptional this season?

As for Ben Arfa, give hime time man.  If you expected him to come back and immediately play like he did at Goodison then you're never going to like him, and that would be fucking stupid.

He had a career threatening injury, give him time to get his match sharpness back, which could take at least another few weeks.  Once he does he'll start to control games like the quality player he is.
