TheGuv
Appointed John Carver as his assistant. Fantastic news, really like John Carver. I think my list of clubs to see the scores on matchdays will now read after Newcastle ofcourse. Gateshead Huddersfield Sheffield United Hartlepool Carlisle
Guest gggg
has all the potential to be a very good manager. I like gary speed, he is also a very very good professional but everyone wasy saying this about roy keane. Speed was saying he learnt most from Sir Bobby, how you liked him so much you would run through brick walls for him. Definitely not something Keane would say. Rich
Another reason to like Sheff Utd. That's 3 now for me.

wormy
Has he even done anything at Sheffield Utd yet? Last I knew he was doing pretty shit there.
NG32
Mental, people getting jobs at international level by only being a manager for 6 months. Mental.
Jill
Doesn't seem to have done much from what I can tell. He'll still be a good manager though, he's too hot to fail.
EthiGeordie
More than any of our ex players I think Speed will one manage us one day in the future.....
Oakie Doke
Mark Hughes hadn't managed before he took the Wales job. I think managing a national team like Wales could be easier than someone like Sheffield United. Expectation levels will be lower, he has the country's best players to choose from and they only have a handful of games to play a year. Best of luck to him anyway, I think he'll turn into a really good manager.
Dokko
I love Gary Speed. Took him a bit to get going but was superb till the end where he was sold for peanuts 2 seasons too soon.

Ronaldo
Wales are more like a good pub team than an international side.
